Let's not forget that as well as winning the league, Vardy also won the FA Cup and the Golden Boot, as well as holding the record for the most goals in consecutive games (13 in 11). He's also the 14th highest goal scorer in the all time prem lists, 10th best goal to game ratio out of players who've scored 100+, and made it to the quarter final of the champions league. That's gotta make him top 15 of all time at least!! And he did it all with Leicester City

Sturridge was, completely honestly, one of the best finishers I've seen; which is backed up by his ridiculously good goals per minutes played ratio at Liverpool. He was unsurprisingly overshadowed by Suarez during arguably his best season, but anyone would have been overshadowed by Suarez during that season, let's be real! Injuries absolutely destroyed his career, sadly, I swear he was made of glass, but boy, when he was fit he was right up there with the best strikers around. Just go watch a Sturridge goal compilation, he scored some absolute worldies!

As a kid from the us, didn’t grow up watching the prem or having a team. Sturridge is greatly responsible for my love of football and LFC. That 13/14 season with Suarez was so fun to watch. It’s a shame injuries ended his career short, he was quality.

You guys epitomised why Vardy is underrated in this video alone. Top 30?? He’s 15th top scorer in premier league history playing for Leicester for God sake, and he won a PL. I’d argue he’s top 10. Henry, Aguero, Shearer, Kane, Rooney, Cole, Van Persie are the only big strikers I’d have ahead of him. You HAVE to take longevity into account

It’s bizarre you don’t even mention Sturridges partnership with Suarez at Liverpool and even when Suarez left, Sturridge was vital for us, injured a lot, hamstrings were shockingly bad. Had his injuries been limited even slightly he’d still be at Liverpool. As a striker with talent, a number 9, fast and strong, he’s world class

Idk this makes me think Vardy is actually underrated. He did all this while playing for Leicester and he didn’t even make it to the Prem until he was 27 and then actually turned up. We’ve seen players like Shevchenko and Higuain struggle in the PL but Vardy set records in it???

If his body didnt let him down he could have easily got the most goals for us in the premier league than Salah has done. Unreal player, shame his injures got in the way.

Even getting shouts for top 5 premier league centerback EVER already. So underrated! And Stones hasn't had the best injury history, if you wanna bring injuries into it. Missed 61 matches at Man City so far due to injuries at 28.

Toss of a coin wether he’d leave any game on a stretcher after 30 minutes; but Sturridge at his best was the most talented English footballer ever maybe. Vision, control, flair, intelligence and as good a finisher as anyone with both feet. Tall, strong and good in the air too.

@@brantonioj1098 in terms of technical ability yes, Rooney, Gerrard, Lampard, Gascoigne, Shearer etc all better (more effective/better at specific things within their role) players overall but just in reference to his technical ability at the standard of the modern game he was exceptional.
