Love that Microwave Massacre Midnight Video poster in the background! lol what a weird movie. My most overrated horror movies: - The Lost Boys (Fright Night is 100x better) - Hereditary - Creepshow (I like a couple segments and the art for the poster but the stories tend to drag imo) - ANOES (Nancy and her friends just aren’t interesting enough and therefore bring the other great parts of the movie down, which is why Dream Warriors is the superior movie). - Jennifer’s Body isn’t good imo but I don’t hate it. It’s pop horror or gateway horror, but I see a lot of people who are over the top in praising it, so I feel like I need to put it in its place. It feels very bland. And if I don’t like characters and dialogue, it’s not going to get praise. The writing is just like Juno to me, where watching it back I feel like I’m not rooting for anyone. And the horror elements are very much capitalizing on the hot girl being evil. Kinda tired of it. And I think there is a valid criticism when saying that girls who are distractingly attractive need to put in a very convincing performance outside of being a mean girl or other trope for hot girls. Like Linnea Quigley as trash is iconic still because she played an out there character and so her getting naked isn’t even the best part of that character. Megan Fox doesn’t give a good enough performance to think of her anything besides a very attractive girl imo. - Hellraiser 1

I've tried watching The VVitch 3 times, most recent attempt, I got through 50 minutes before turning it off. Couldn't get into it at all
