@@yungtj100 obviously they would have wanted to win but Jason kidd as a coach has a select number of like ten players he likes to play but likes to only basically run an 8 or 9 man so in the first game of each series he plays a ten or twelve man to see who is going to work in the series while putting trust in his guys that they can win.

I feel like the conversation bw al horford and Vince Carter is interesting. I think Vince had the better individual career in the nba but didn’t impact winning as much as al did because everywhere al has been he’s always been a winning player. i also think the ratings being down also could have happened because so early on it was a blowout, people who werent checked in maybe being busy, time zone differences etc, theyre looking at the nba app seeing 20 down and saying nah ill watch when it gets good, also as a fan from the UK i tuned in only when tight but im not up at 3am to see a blowout

I think in regards to the ratings espn has done a disserves to the fans with the lazy coverage trying to create this negative headlines about jaylen and jayson and covering the lakers as much as they have these playoffs and all season it's been a massive turn off for me at least and also it's a younger demographic the nba needs to get into streaming because honestly fuck paying for cable.
