I'm Late!!! We can worry about who's fault it is later, right now we need to move! Still an alright day, but it sure would be a lot better with some proper preparation. At least we have fun lol.

I appreciate that! I wouldn't want people to set things aside for me, that could be messy if I missed them one week. Some folks do hand me a bag if they see me, and other times they put the bottles in a separate bag in the bin. That's always a nice surprise!

I honestly don't know how you rush like that if I tried that and I'm a bigger size guy I'd be on my butt for sure, but appreciate the hustle stay safe and be careful. By the way I also extremely enjoy your videos

I used to hit a golf course next to where I lived ,in the night and got quite a bit before the matinence came around on golf card, once he was 3 ft from me didn't see me and once the sprinklers came on me, it was fun tho

Different with me. They've taken my beat away. CBD street bins. They've taken away, basically all the CBD street bins from one of the main drags, just today, and what bins are going in to replace these would require Mr. Stretch to access the contents. This had been ongoing for several weeks, so that one knew that it was coming, but they moved rapidly on it today. Oh, well, that is that. Less to bugger around with, but also less extra cash.

I'm looking it up but I'm not sure what a CBD bin is... are you in NZ? Could you use a grabber arm? If you can figure out a way it could be better for you. Everybody else gives up and they'll be ripe for picking anytime you like.

@@thubprint CBD for Central Business District, or, in this case, I was doing the two main streets in town. Not metropilitan, but a sort of not quite half dead regional city. I discussed the grabber arm concept with a co-' bottle ' picker ' the other night, but we both do not wanna really do that. Unlike him I can get my head under the metal ceiling but no way can I teach way down into there. Using a grabber arm might be a real skill with these new bins, trading visual for dexterity, then extraction might be a serious bitch. I'll still do deposit, but more incidentally. I am not in competition so much with this other guy, nor anyone else. I always offer him some of my collections when we do cross paths. 45 bins, originally, then it became 44, when they did not replace a vandalised one, and now its less than half of that now being immediately viable.

@@thubprint Oh, and the time schedules for both of us are different than your residential bins. Its sort of end of the day or at least well into the day to get rolling with it. I'm reconsidering the grabber arm, but I seriously think that the civic powers-that-be seriously do not want people doing it. Might be time to scale back rather than run the gauntlet of notices and tickets.
