I've been holding off for a while, waiting for the right time to get the Touring Edition for my 2018 Sportwagen 4motion. But, I'm now pretty convinced that I should go with the Track Edition, considering I've got a stock downpipe (which I will keep for the foreseeable future).

I have this exhaust and once it warms up it starts to rattle and bang around on something I just can’t figure out where lol I let it cool down and can’t figure it out there no touching anywhere. Wonder where it can be banging around?

what year is the gti 7.5, as with the 7 spd varient they don't have the dsg noises stock and was wondering if this came after the install

Trying to narrow down exactly the sound I want. When you say that you ran the Track edition turboback, eventually installing the resonator, does turboback mean the dp too? I was leaning towards touring with stock dp, but my concern is that it won’t be noticeably different from stock. I don’t plan on doing a Stage 2 tune honestly, and what i’m seeing in various places is that it is tough to run a larger, even catted dp without a tune and not get a CEL.

Hi "AWE". I own a MK 7.5 manual (currently bone-stock) and plan to stage 1 (maybe stage 2) tune it with either Cobb or Unitronic. Also I plan on getting a Cobb or Unitronic cold air intake and an AWE exhaust setup. I'm leaning towards the touring (w/ resonator) as I'm looking for HP gain but with as little cabin noise as possible as this will be my daily driver. Also, I don't ever plan on changing out the downpipe. Would it be silly to get the touring over the track given what I'm looking for? Honestly, I just want a deeper clean sounding exhaust without the crackles and pops with limited buzz and cabin noise. Please advise! Thank you.

i own a 7.5 gti with the dsg7 and my plan is to go AWE touring with a de-cat downpipe and cut out the AWE muffler. My reasoning behind this is if i go track and decat i will not be able to get the "dsg farts" as the DQ381 does NOT have dsg farts, but by even just removing the stock muffler/back box you do get some farts just not the traditional dsg farts. And i dont want to run de-cat downpipe with a non-resonated, non mufflerd exahaust but by going with the touring i get the resonator. does this sound like it would be a good option? removing the muffler to get the farts but still having the resonator to keep it little bit more daily driver friendly. im sorry if this is to complicated or if i didnt explain myself properly ( english is not my first languange )

Hello AWE Team, I am looking at buying the Track edition for my MK7.5 GTI (Dsg) which will be mated with the Stock Dp. May I please know if there are any weight savings and if any difference in the performance with the stock Dp, I know with the Aftermarket DP it can be up to 21HP n 24ft lbs torque.. peeps in my car group throwing numbers n if u dun then they legit look down on u ... :(

Update: The touring doesn't really add any sound. It slightly changes the tone. Overall, very subtle & somewhat disappointed (more info in the replies). Just bought the Touring. Hoping it sounds better than the stock exhaust without a downpipe. I'll eventually get a downpipe tho either way.

I Realised if you get the manual it sounds like shit. DSG makes it sound sooo much nicer
