NOTE: This is an airsoft video!
In this video I do a brief overview of the Cybergun (OEM'd by KWC) licensed Colt 1911 Rail Gun Stainless CO2 GBB pistol. Not very detailed info but if nothing else it is damn beautiful to look at!
If you are somewhat of a 1911 fan, and you can find either of the Cybergun Colt 1911 Rail Gun models for $140 USD or less, I would say go for it! :D

I own one too. These Colt Railguns are amazing. I still drool at the very sight of it. And that sound 😍😍😍 I wanna get all 4 models but that's quite costly. Still, Airsoft replica's don't get any better than this. Cybergun does have the best quality when it comes down to it (yes, I know they're made by KWC) as Umarex for instance let me down with their releases quite a few times. Great video of a great product!! Subscribed 👍

just want to remind u that even on real 1911 some of them had polymer hand grip and was also made to look like wood. Not all of them are wood.

Safety is not glued inside. The safety on the right rides on a pin which has an oversized head, If you remove the left safety first ( with hammer back ) you can then rotate the right safety to the rear and it can come off. It might be a bit stiff ,cause both fit in a brass tube. They interconnect internally but its not glued. PS. these things do not need much lubing.

Thanks for the info! Actually just a couple of weeks ago I went at it and managed to wiggle the safety levers out using a couple of plastic sticks to the the left-hand side to start moving out. Tight fit, but as you say, not glued. Which is awesome :)

Non Existent I tried this myself as well as I plan to get the ASG dan Wesson valor. The problem is that it has the wrong beavertail and controls . Cannot do anything about the beavertail as the frame is different , but I plan to change the safety and MSH from another cybergun to get it a bit closer to the original.

Why does it say that its an 1911 colt gave them permition for the design but they made it an 2011 that looks kinda like a 1911 chrome

Yeah, real 1911 screws were 4.5mm diameter I think. Originals are 3.5mm or 4.0mm. For the top two screws you need to be aware that the inner frame sits just behind the screw holes so when I went in with my dye tap to re-thread the holes the tapered/pointy part of my tap actually hit the inner frame walls and deformed them inwards, making it impossible to insert the magazine. So I had to bend the inner frame back and do some sanding. You can avoid this by drilling through the walls of the inner frame first before tapping the holes.

I bought one two days ago. Very good gun overall, but the trigger isn't very good, and there's too much play in the slide. It's pretty accurate, with very tight groupings, but shoots a bit high and doesn't have an adjustable rear sight. I will order some genuine rosewood grips for it today. That will look sick. Hopefull I can fit an adjustable rear sight as well. Next purchase will be a Dan Wesson 715 6" .177 CO2 revolver. That one looks sick also, and should be even more accurate.

Congratulations on a good purchase! Regarding the trigger, I can't really say if it is good or bad. But I would strongly recommend you disassemble the pistol and clean and lubricate it as these tend to come very dry and grimey from the factory. Adjusting the tension/bend on the trigger group leaf spring might also help. Slide fit, sure, not the tightest, but not super sloppy, depends on your past experience and expectation. As for accuracy, no, not super accurate. Don't recall mine shooting high though but again I don't shoot mine that much. But this one has been shot a bit at targets. Try dialing in the hop up or try using different weight BBs to see if that helps. Real grips should work with minor mods, see here: i.imgur.com/DnwwSd0.png i.imgur.com/scN1sNm.png

@@CJAwesome83 At a 15 foot distance indoors, I can actually find the 9 or 10 on a competition pistol target with every shot. So the accuracy isn't half bad, if you're using it for that type of semi-serious close-range target practice. That's a 1 inch grouping, outside hole to outside hole, free hand. The self-accuracy would likely be half that or better. Unfortunately I haven't been able to test it. I did try with it fastened in a vice, but the blow back was so powerful that it refused to sit still in the vice. I used some cut up pieces of empty toilet paper rolls between the vice and gun, to protect the gun from scratches, and apparently that was too slick a material to keep the gun in the vice.

Hmmm, did not know about that and haven't heard anything about that. Don't think any other aftermarket one would work since the KWC 1911s is a proprietary design.

Thanks man! This is the 6mm plastic BB airsoft version. I am not sure if there are air gun versions of this exact model but I do know that the KWC 1911 models come in air gun versions that shoot 4.5mm steel pellets.

You said that you threaded the screw holes for the new rs screws... So I guess new rs screws wont fit before re threading the holes then?

Yes, that is correct. However instead of getting RS screws and re-threading the holes I would advice that you take out and measure the original screws and buy similar screws with whatever head you want. Non destructive. My re-threading didn't turn out too great so won't be doing that again.

If I may, I would add some info.in regards to improving range and accuracy. Since the gun is not TM compatible, the Maple Leaf Hop Up Chamber is out of the question, instead insert .... Airsoft Surgeon RE Hop-Up Toy Rubber For RWA KWC Cybergun Elite Force Co2 1911...range-cca70meters...accuracy-cca40meters and BB 0.36 or more.I also noticed that the original wheel in the chamber is plastic and somewhat flimsy, replace it with a metal maple leaf 1911 model that fits perfectly and also rotates almost unlimited while the original because of some kind of blockage, it can't spin so much. I hope the information is helpful .. with respect ...

That's good feedback! I actually just completed assembling my latest Cybergun 1911 Rail Gun (Blackened) and used the RWA hop up rubber. Did not think of the hop up wheel but I will get one of those and install as well! Shame there is so little after market support for these nice pistols :)

Completely depends on what you want but I find the stainless steel finish of this one very nice so I prefer this one.

Only thing i dont like this model is the fact that i cant use my regular m1911 holster with this. I have to get a m45 holster for it some day...

I bought them from WGCShop. Minor mod required to fit over the CO2 bump. I posted comments about it on ArniesAirsoft news thread on this pistol :D

I know this is an old video, but did you fit the real 1911 bushings? Or just drill and tap for the correct size? I bought one and I dont like wood grips.

daniel דניאל it feels cheap. I dont know if the elite force feels better but i did have problems with it right away. There is a spring around the barrel that would get stuck and stop working. The gun just feels extremely cheap. I would avoid it.

daniel דניאל if you have enough to pay for them, KWA ptp guns feel good i have the M9 and i like it. But i have a medium sized hand, and it still feels kinda big. Ive shot old tokyo marui 1911s that felt really got in the hand. I would recomend going to a shop to try them out. How hundguns feel in your hand is very subjective.

What is your opinion on the RWA nighthawk covert ops? It seems so snappy and i have a wish that it has better materials than KWC even if it is KWC's internals.

Hey! I was actually planning on buying that one because it comes with the threaded barrel, thread protector and silencer at a great price. However after thinking about it I realized I didn't really care for that look on a 1911 and also it's not every practical. So I got the normal KWC 1911 TAC model :-D I highly doubt that it's using any different materials or has higher quality. It just seems externally different than the stock KWC one. So in short, if you like it, buy it. It's a tricked out KWC 1911 :D

More KWC's are better KWC's! One never knows until one tries! I have the 1911A1-model and i'm really happy with it. I have threads on the inside of the barrel, and swiss arms have an adapter for the silencer (striker airsoft and röda stjärnan stocks them for 99kr) if i would like to go for the look. It would be fun to have a tracer on it for shits and giggles.

Hey man. I am going to order this pistol because i think it looks amazing and the price is really good right now but one thing that i dislike is the grips. Where did you buy your grips? I know they are called "VZ Operator™ Black G10" but on the site they are like $65 and thats really expensive. Where could i get similar looking grips for a cheaper price?

You can buy any TM 1911 style compatible grip on the market and they will fit with minor modifications. Search on KZfaq "KWC fit 1911 grip" and you will find guides.

No. I actually just tried to remove the paint from an old KWC 1911 with black finish and the metal underneath turns out really nice with 240grit wet sanding :-)

You can remove the safety, Atleast on the KWC bw1911 model like I own... I cant see why KWC would make it unremoveable on their newer gens of 1911:s :|

What is the difference between type A and B grips? I saw that some of them are A type, some of them B and I can't find out what's the difference :(.

A type is checker style grips and B type is serrated, at least on AirsoftGlobal where I got mine.

Nah, nothing currently. I haven't bought any new guns that I haven't made cases for already so :p But I might do one for this 1911 stainless actually. :D Or, well, actually I have 3 WE GEN2 M9s that I got boxes for but not had time to complete the project. Haha. Doing other stuff at the moment :)

I have not really fired this specific model much but I do recall on my original KWC 1911 A1 (WW I style) that the barrel did get some wear. This is primarily because of the dual recoil spring setup, there is a recoil spring riding inside the slide, outside of the outer barrel. But I can't say it bothered me much.

+LinXx I am pretty sure the Elite Force 1911 Tac is just a US variant on the KWC 1911 Tac which is the OEM for this one as well. So basically it's KWC 1911 CO2 either way. So they are pretty much the same. But comparing my KWC 1911 Tactical ("Elite Force") with this one, a few things stick out. Overall feel is slightly tighter and more solid. Trigger pull and hammer drop have more force. And the finish and markings are of course way better. So in short, as a base pistol, probably about the same. Overall package, this one is "better". Looking at some quick pics the Elite Force one has some pretty terrible looking "markings". So either get a plain KWC 1911 Tac or one of these Rail Guns with markings :p

I have the Red Jacket 1911 tc co2 varient, same base, but I was curious because my own work on my Red Jacket 1911 tac co2 made my 1911 look almost identical to this, minus the cool etching on the slide of course, but I was curious if I should pay the $120 for this or just stick with my red jacket. I think when I Get the extra cash I'll consider this. It is pretty amazing.

Wow... today I received this gun and... so dissapointed. The gun itself is gorgeous that's not an issue at all, but the magazine's spring is TOUGH AS HELL - it may sound weird but I'm literally breaking my nails while trying to get the spring go down to load some BB's, also there's no texture on this plastic thing to make it go down easier - it's flat (like really?). So simple but stupid enough to make me return the gun :(. If only I'd find a solution... but I could not find any :/

Mostly because of the parts availability in my country, they're basically non existent. That's just a big addon to it. I could use a sand paper to remove this gap hurting my nails in this follower thing, but what would I do after the service support end? Nothing really :/. A shame really, I loved this gun, the best I've ever held in my hands. Only the risk involved made me sent it away...

Dude, I get that that's a downside. I ripped a nail too on that spring. But it get's easier when you use it more often. This product is so damn beautiful and a pleasure to hold in your hand. Why return it because of just one small factor that will get better over time? Use some ballistol to smear it. To each their own but this gun is top notch.

Hey mate, I did actually have the same problem. I opened the mag up and pulled out the spring and cut off maybe 1,5 to 2 cm and put it all back together. It works fine now and is way easier to manage.

Nope, these 1911s use a KWC style proprietary CO2 magazine. No Green Gas magazines available for them.

Bought this a few months ago for about 175€ and it was horrible. The slide catch broke, the hammer broke and then the mag was leaking. now a piece of the slide has broken of. And I only brought it to 3 airsoft games!!!!!!! Now mabye mine was just a bad egg but idk

Sorry to hear that man. I've had 4-5 of these (none broke but just different models) and never had an issue. Maybe it's super how where you are and the pressure was too much? :o Sounds like you got a lemon maybe.

Love the video, just bought the same model, color, Tactical full metal 1911 Colt 45 blowback. $105.00 at Evike .com. What an amazing deal, ur video aspire me too buy my first blowback full metal 1911 rail gun. I am a huge Glock fan, real one and airsoft co2 blowback glock, So yes 1911 rocks.

No it's not actual stainless steel. Aluminum/pot metal. But still very nice.
