Thank you for this video, you hav eencouraged me to try the same with my WE AK-74, i was upset that the original details didnt fit, I'm very lucky that you had MAGPUL accesories as I did. Everything fitted perfectly after 3 hours of cutting melting and sanding, I'm super happy now, thank you again!

My sear is moving just slightly to far forward so that the hammer cannot push it back to latch when the forend is pulled back after firing, which of course stops the action entirely from sliding all the way back.. Any idea on what's causing this?

Hi!! Thanks for the video. Like all others, it is another good one. I am living in Europe and so far I did never see any Guarder part. I am looking for companies or someone, who sells this inside Shengen space. Any info will be greatly appreciated!! Best regards!!

Thanks for linking a website with the individual parts! The valve knocker on my Deagle broke off, but I had no clue what to search for to find a replacement (I didn't even know what it was called until you mentioned it in the video). I'll definitely be coming back to your channel for disassembly/reassembly instructions after I get the component ordered!

Hello again and thanks for the video. I gave my younger son, a Desert Eagle but unfortunately of another brand as back then, I could not afford a WE. It did not bring any problems so far. But it will. And I got no parts and no literature to repair it. Maybe this video will help. I will keep it. Thanks for all your sharing. ❤

Looks like you have something wrong with the gun because after I saw your video I tried mine to check if it has the same issue in the slide and the tigger and it works perfectly fine. Seems like something is worn out , broken or loose inside that cause your slide to block when tilted .

Remove the spring from the bolt catch or cut it in half. Yes, as simple as that!!!

I absolutely CANNOT find a wooden birdhead grip for my realsteel 870 Witness Protection build. I'm seriously considering trying to use the APS version. Maybe with some shims. It might wind up being my only alternative.

Thanks a lot! FYI: It does work pretty much the same way with Umarex/VFC G17 Gen. 4. Its really close to identical. I installed the CowCow Trigger. Only thing worht mentioning is that the trigger safety is close to non-functional if you install a TM trigger onto a Umarex G17. But it looks and feels so much better. Can't put enough emphasis on DON'T lose those tiny springs and bolts tho. Worked like a charm. Great Video!

@elitesennabubble5 ай бұрын
the grip feels nice with 2 hands, and the slide release is supposed to be used by the off-hand. The slide not being tall is good because you have a lot of space to grip the pistol without your hand interfering with the slide. Mine also doesn't have those slide issues

hey bro idk if were having the same issue or not but my we m16a3's bolt is sticking on an empty mag. pressing the release isnt helping and the only way i can fix it is by ramming the charging handle forward. do you have any advice?

@EDcase16 ай бұрын
Good info in general but I would say at 25:09 you do NOT want the bolt to go that far back because when it returns and hits the 'bolt stop' on empty it will cause much more damage due to the speed it picks up. The bolt should only travel about 5mm past the stop point when fully inside the buffer tube

Thanks for making this! My ssp18 extended mag’s feed lip cracked due to me trying to load it at the top and I put too much pressure and cracked it. I just needed to know how to replace it because novritsch does not have a video on how to do it.

I know this video is old but its worth a shot- I have the new L6 version and my shots are pulling to the left. Are there any reasons why this is happening? I've confirmed it's not my grip or any human error. I also do want to say thank you so much for these strip down videos. They are super helpful!

I think my bolt stop is too lose. I tried 0.1 which wasnt enough but an improvement. I tried 0.2 which was too much and now Im waiting for the 0.15 to arrive. Hopefully that will fix it. I dont think you need to do mag mods since Its the Force of the bolt carrier that slams the bolt stop in because the bolt stop is too loose

Putting the valve knocker in was not as difficult as it seemed at first. I inserted it from the rear, whilst rotating it, so as to make it go in. Then, I used gravity to let it rest inside the assembly upside-down. I took a small flathead screwdriver to manipulate the spring-arm into the valve knocker's slot. It happened just like that: much easier than I anticipated. Refitting the hammer-spring was more challenging though. I had to use so much force with the pliers, that I did not believe that I could manage it like that. So, tried a different approach: I took the retainer between my index-finger and thumb. Then, I pressed the retainer firmly onto the spring-strut combination, pushing it just enough as to be able to push the retainer into its target location in a swift motion. I was surprised that it appeared to be that easy, although it was also quite "dangerous", as the retainer and spring could have launched themselves into oblivion just as well. So, no pliers were needed for that. Just lots of strength in your fingers to push the retainer against the spring, and some control as to make it lock itself in its intended location. At first, I thought that the tip of my index-finger was in the way, but then I figured it out: rotate the index-finger gently, thereby pushing the retainer into its locking location. It was easy, once I noticed that it worked, but it wasn't planned. Just a case of incidental luck and intuition.

Would it be better to lube the seals, valves and o-rings with silicone oil first before putting the valves back?

Just use a piece of thin rubber (inner bicycle tube) between the wrench and the rim and you won’t damage it at all.
