Maybe her speed utility could be an attack speed buff rather than a movement speed one. It makes sense as Alec Dawson said it's going to be something that only one character currently provides, which is Kiriko, while movement speed buffs don't come from just one character (we have Lucio, JQ, and also Kiri)

I wouldn't really mind if the turrets on her back operated on their own and healed nearby targets. Kind of like Lucio's healing. But that might make them a little too similar :p Would love to see one of her abilities of maybe even ultimate play with the gravity. Imagine turning on low gravity for everyone lol, or just a small circle. Kind of like the opposite of Ramattra's vertex. Could use it to launch yourself or teammates upwards GREAT VIDEO!!!

it could be interesting if to enemies, the side of the ring opposite from where you place it is invisible, so you can only see it from one side, and going through it for them slows them down. so you could use the ability in many ways, to speed up your team or to put it front of a doorway to slow down enemies and you would have to choose how to use it carefully

I'd like to see Space Ranger sort of fly in a circle while facing her team for line-of-sight much as D.Va can do in the current content creator collab.

I’m guessing her abilities are going to be: Ability #1 “Hyper ring”, deploy a ring shaped “shield” in which allies who pass through it are given a speed boost but not a shield. The ring is indestructible and can be shot through. The Hyper ring will have a bar under it for each time the ring is shot through. The more shots or “damage” dealt to the ring, the bigger the speed boost. Ability #2 “Launchpad”, Tap to deploy (hold to aim) a space pod where allies can shoot through a window and also acts as a shield. When “Spaceranger” recasts this ability it shoots the space pod and all characters in the space pod into the air. Once the space pod reaches a certain point it will make the characters equip a jet pack in which they can hold the key, “space bar”, to gradually float down. Maximum 2 characters (can be an enemy). Ability #3 “Inclined Healing” Launch the active character into the air healing all allies in a radius around the character. When in the air, the active character’s abilities are replaced with 1 new ability and a secondary fire for weapon. In air ability,(Rocket heals), project a rocket that heals allies and damages enemies in range (max 3 characters, cannot regenerate while in air). Secondary fire, Spaceranger shoots out a beam from her rockets exploding on contact with a surface. Allies hit with the explosion will be given a speed boost and be healed. Ultimate “Friendly Higher” (yes I did mean “Friendly Higher” not Friendly Fire) Select 2 allies. Once allies are selected Spaceranger and the 2 selected allies will be launched into the air. While being launched, and for the first 3 second in air, Spaceranger and her allies will be immune to all damage. While in air allies and Spaceranger will get constant healing. Everyone in air will move freely and not float/drop down for 10 seconds. Allies and Spaceranger can cancel this effect at any time and will drop down and be immune to damage while doing so. Passive #1: Support, can regenerate hp faster. Passive #2: Spaceranger has more “in air” control being able to move easier horizontally. Spaceranger will not be able to use secondary fire until in mid air.

maybe the thing’s on her back work like illiaris pylon, is constanty heals her team. And i think that her flying ability is like pharah and then she can flying any direction like the community crafted dva abillity.

I think the speed ring is going to be like octanes jump bubble thing from apex or even those antigravity lifts from halo, But with more horizontal movement.

When I saw you mentioned she had two little turret/arm things, I personally thought one would be for damage, and one would be for heals. I also thought that after you mentioned she would just have to look at enemies/teammates, that she could choose one of the arms to manually aim, and have the other auto aim, so she could multitask; I don’t know if that’s how she’ll end up working but I kinda hope it is, all I know is I’m excited for her release!

I wonder if she has a blast radius heal ability like baptiste has - it would make sense with her in the air and if she still has that smart smg it could be for heals not for damage. A lot easier to heal your team from the air if you get a little auto tracking and splash radius

I think the arms on her suit will be similar to zen's healing orb but you can heal 2 allies at once, press a key on one person and a robot or beam is constantly healing them, like mercy's beam range, and press another key to heal another person at the same time as the other?

One thing I don't want to reoccur is a clunky gun swap, specifically Life Weaver's weapon swapping, just doesn't feel smooth😅

I’ve always thought it looked like there are rockets in the extra arm things so I think those are dps and her gun will be support

I hope the healing is either like Brig or Moira. like it has a timed charge. and shoots out something. or it can spray healing like Moira

Maybe the devices on her mech arms are the speed rings and theres 2 so maybe theres 2 charges

Her ult could be like a vertical coalescence controlled remotely like rip tire.

I’d love her turret things to have infinite healing similar to mercy where it attaches to a teammate, and then it can also attack using a separate beam to attach onto enemy’s similar to how symmetra used to be

If your going to compare her shoulder mounts to Bap, then you could imagine that one arm would spawn a speed gate and the other a healing one, that you had to run through them to get the buff.

Ooh! It’d be cool if she can like fly up temporarily, and in the style of Pharahs últ, she can do that beam thing!

Hope she is like a combo of Pharah and Horizon from Apex, having flight and gravity-style utility.

I think her ult could also be something like astra from valorant where she goes into an astral plane and do something with that.

I kinda thought her ult could be a sort of anti gravity field to give her entire team airborne mobility. Perhaps it could also make projectiles in range have low gravity so they can be fired further.

Imagine speed ring, Lucio's boost and Junker's shout all at spawn

Thatd be cool if you can boop enemies through the speed ring to make them go further/faster. Also i really hope her ult is a glassing beam from halo 😆

Im just exited its a new support hero, and its even better that its movement focused cause thats one of my favorite things about overwatch AND its a spaced themed hero which has so many ppportunites for cool stuff like the space laser :D

I had the crazy idea that space rangers ability would be a helicarrier that could pick up other players. And I giggled at the thought of a healer carrying a Rienhardt or Roadhog into the back line of the enemy team. But judgeing from the evidence its definitely not that. XD

So how dva calls her mech and how bastion sends down missels but with moiras beam is her ult ?

I actually think that she should have an ability much like Horizon from Apex, where she places something that makes the player float up. Since she's from Marc, a low gravity or no gravity effect of util could've been grate

I'm still expectant for her to have very low healing capacity but that can grant shields to her allies in some way... Don't judge me, I still miss photom shields and shield generator.

Would be cool to have unli flying like Ironman and Storm in Marvel Rivals

Maybe the speed ring is like a brig pack she throws it at someone and it last for X amount of seconds

It would be interesting if she only had the option to fly as long as she was actively healing a teammate. This would reward a player for utilizing the character correctly. Highly mobile with lots of verticality, healing and supporting from above.

some abilities i hope to see is VVV ability 1 a 5x5x7 square platform than when throw down deploys a 0 grav field for teammates and slows enemy rate and speeds allies fire rate up (so if i throw it in front of my team they would be shooting slightly faster than normal and the enemy team would be shooting slower than normal ability 2 ORISA GRAV BALL (BRING IR BACK PLEASE)it would work differently though if your on secondary fire its a jump pad for your team(like the green ones in custom mode)or if its primary fire just regular old orisa grav ball

I think it’s attack speed. Kiri is the only other person who increases attack speed.

I was thinking of a moira ult similar to rocket barage but more like illaris ult that she can fire at will similar to ventures where you just click to release once activated

I KNOW EXACTLY WHAT THEY'LL HAVE. a red button to pull out wings with a jet pack. a extra laser on her right arm. And another red button to call laser command. That's what space ranger will haven.

I hope her gameplay will ACTUALLY be that of a support playstyle. As it feels like most support heroes added these past few years have just been Damnage heroes with like one healing ability. Not to name names but- (Brigite & Kiriko even technically Moira at release)

They will give him abilities to dash and fly and use shields to make him invincible

Could have bastions creator ability due to the arms

Ultimate : Redeploy the team to the objective by falling from the sky with pods (which do impact damage)

Hopefully they don’t crack her tooth like Venture.

I would love for her abilities to negate cool downs on a teammate, & ultimate transfers which would drain her ultimate back down to 0%.
