Tracers origin story is that she volunteered to be a test pilot for a plane that was used to make flights faster, the plane ran on a device that could run through time. But it malfunctioned make the plane and Tracer (Lena Oxton) dissappear. No one was able to find Lena for years because she kept flickering in and out of time, then one day, Overwatch found her and gave her the device to use as a way to keep her in the time stream and to fight with them. This is why she has the device nearby always, she can take it off it just has to be in range of her. This is also why in Doomfist when her device became broken she kept disappearing and reappearing.

That core not only allows her to rewind time, it's also the only thing that allows her to keep her physical form. Without it, she would pretty much be a ghost.

I'm with Jasmine on this one! Widow Maker is like my favorite. She's hard to play but still. Everyone is all about tracer but naaah man. I'm all for that widow shit.

Tracer actually needs that suit to be able to live a normal life. She can’t take it off. When she was a pilot, she was trapped in a time paradox which made her cells invisible and she couldn’t talk. Only person who could hear her was herself, she could not see herself. Every couple of hours this would happen, Winston made that suit so tracer could control her ‘disease,’ now whenever her core is charged she can do all of those moves, go back to her position 5 seconds ago, or just skip forward to the next 2 seconds walking. All of this is done using her cells that disappear and reappear.

"Fun" fact : in the latest comic from Overwatch, who show different characters spending their holidays, we see Widowmaker visiting the grave of her husband, Gérard Lacroix (who Widowmaker killed after being transformed in... well, Widowmaker.) So, somewhere, deep in Widowmaker mind, a little bit of Amélie Lacroix (her real name) is still kicking. Yeah, Blizzard like their bad guys tortured.

Honestly it doesn't surprise me that she turned out to be gay (or lesbian if you wanna get technical). I never really got a straight vibe from her to begin with and that's manly do to her tomboyish look and personality. Now I'm not saying that every female that is a tomboy is gay, its just that the majority of them usually turn out that way.

Jared Jackson They'll probably do a McCree/Sombra/Mercy one soon.. since there is little known lore between them (they all know each other and Sombra has some type of relationship to McCree) Let alone, McCree is one of the best characters in game that deserve one. Hugely acclaimed by the community, and Sombra needs more relevance, probably gonna get a buff or something since shes useless pretty much. I feel that McCree needs one since he's pretty much untouched on cinematics.. he only got one comic and thats it. I'll love to see what happened to his arm and why he uses his right hand while he is a lefty.

pc, it's not as good on consoles. like it's still polished but controllers are more for arcade shooters like call of duty. overwatch is really hard to play on console because of all the abilities and vertical combat. it's $20 cheaper and better to play on consoles. you can also check out new updates before they come out on pc as well.

I've seen a lot of these reactions videos on this an no one or at least I remember has picked up on the fact that widow was playing tracer the whole way until that shot widow is ruthless but efficient and picks her targets and adapts to her situation

tracer's core actually stabilises her in time, if she did not have the core and suit she wears she would start to blink in and out of time at random since she was part of an experiment that went wrong.

Hanzo is also a sniper,he uses a bow but in the eyes of the game.....he is a sniper-defence character And....as a lot of people know.....Widowmaker (Amelie LaCroix) killed Mondatta a omnic rights activist and leader And Tracer’s “core” is called a Chronal Accelerator

I wish more people new the horrible backstory of Widowmaker. She didn't start off as a badass assassin. She actually was the wife of an overwatch agent and got caught by the enemy. They tortured and brainwashed her to be the ultimate weapon against her husband. She's a badass now, but now you know what it costed to get there.
