I can tell by this reactors facial expression how mesmerized she is with Morissette version, the moment Mori opened her mouth her eyes lit up already. Morissette added growls, vocal fry, squeaks and her belted notes are fuller and rounder, and you can tell by the way Mori belts that she has a wider ranger and higher range, 5 octave and 4 semi notes, and her story telling ability and emotions she conveys with the song. So for me Morissette.

Both versions are amazing I like Lorens version because it's closer to when she sang it in the film , Morisette has a smoother voice in her cover and effortless. By far my favourite version is Loren in a night with David Foster , her range , control, and the little cries she does at the end of lines .

This was actually Loren Allred's first live performance of this song ever. You should watch her famous performance on An intimate night with David Foster and see the incredible dynamics and flair she gives the song that was no doubt watched and mimicked by Mor Amon. However, I do love Morissette A LOT as well.

Loren Allred is the original Singer of this song. She sang for the actress Rebecca Ferguson in the Movie The Greatest Showman. But the Philippines is very dear to her coz' of her dear friend Filipino Songwriter Musical Arranger Troy Laureta. hence the Friendship between her and Morrisette Amon who incidentally made a wonderful cover for the song Never Enough for WishBus on Wish 107.5.

Loren Allred sang beautifully but I love Morissette Amon brings something more to the song. The only thing i hate is Live version of Morissette because you get so much interference by the Audience covering up Mori' opening stanzas and you hear the screams and the stupid cat calls and whistles from the audience and then the huge stage echo of the overpowering and loud music . Mori's voice still came though all these obstacles and she cam shining through with flying colors. The crowd even interfered with the natural ending when Mori had to wait until they were done so she could finish her outro "for me"

She just on another PLANET, the one, the only Asia's phoenix MORISSETTE AMON, Loren allred just pales into insignificance 🇬🇧🔥👌❤️.

Original is original and when a song like this makes it to the mainstream, that’s a legendary on it’s own. However, there’s too much vibrato in Loren’s vocal, it lacks colours. The song felt very rushed to listen to when she sings the chorus. Thing is when you are singing such a repetitive phrase, everytime you sing it should sound different in order to give that much hmpff to your story telling so her version sounded flat - flat not as in the notes flat but in a sense of lacking dynamic as it just sounded like a constant repeat of the phrase. Morrisette on the other hand showcased more vocal techniques; highs, lows, vocal fry, smooth transitions of notes and everytime she ascends to that hight notes it’s all very connected. Everytime she sings that chorus she just draws you in and that climax at the end when she did the slide was everything and then she brought it back down gently and quietly - anyone who’s had a proper vocal training could attest how hard these techniques she’s demonstrated. Definitely Morrisstte’s version from a vocal technique stand point, she’s a beast! Her placements and intentional cracks are icing on the cake!

Although Morisette has a wonderful voice. Loren Allred delivers the emotion that this song was intended to provide to the listener. The problem with a cover is that it can never be the original and therefore can never "Be better" . Oh yes, it may be a wonderful interpretation of the original artist's meaning. But alas, it will always be what it is. A copy.

I love them both and have reacted to them on many occasions, They both killed it but personally I prefer Loren. Her Tone, depth in her lows & Transitions do it for me in this particular song. Btw I think Loren's performance of this song with David Foster was her best performance.

It would not do justice to judge Loren to compare her to Morisette Amon. She drew her inspiration from her version of Never Enough from Ms Allred, not to say "I could do it better".

Eh wasn’t that impressed with Mori, she did alright, but in my opinion suffered from whispy vocals at soft parts. Bad mic feedback, and too long of pauses especially at the end, the original singer Loren with the better microphone killed it
