It looks lovely. Aw, I felt so sorry for you when you were getting cross with yourself. As creatives, we can sometimes only see the parts that annoy is or the bits that didn’t go to plan-but to others, they just see the beauty of it all. It’s important to show these videos though-as we all have ‘off’ days. I see so much of myself in you. I’m a bit of a perfectionist too. I’ve tried to move away from selling things that have a near-perfect finish to them and I’m trying to move into ‘rustic’ but even now-it still bugs me because I am not used to selling things that are rustic 🤦🏽‍♀️😂. I have to remind myself-the buyer will see the beauty of it…but it’s a constant ‘inner battle’. xx

3/3/23 this never showed in my usual thread of videos. Did you use a swirl tool but did not video? Covid. Ugh. Gyms were highly contagious areas. Glad you are on the mend.

We are our own worst enemies when it comes to making soap. Why we’re hyper critical of how it comes out and usually it really isn’t a big deal. This soap is lovely don’t be annoyed at all. Sorry to hear you have Covid. I went through that in July and although I wasn’t that hill with it I have suffered extreme fatigue cents and just can’t get my head back in the game so I’m hoping it’ll pass soon. Hope you don’t have similar problems

We really are. I knew it would be ok when cut but you know how it goes! The fatigue is bad. I'm only doing a few hours a day at work at the moment. It's such a bore though. In your mind you're fine, then you realise you can't go full steam ahead like you used to. I hope you feel much better very soon x

Love the soap! I hope your feeling better I had covid in December of 2021 and was all throat and my skin hurt! Then came the sleep! I slept for a week, Well it is September 29th 2022 and I am still dealing with the throat, I am miserable! Lots of pudding and soups..... I am on 2 low dose chemo drugs to Kill my immune system.....so itake so much longer to heal. Hope you both feel better.

@@futureprimitivesoap been in hospital a week crazy great Dr did not leave any stone unturned came in for throught found, heart issue, thyroid issue, blood clot, oh my! But getting answers thank you keep shaping I love watching you!

Soap setting up too quickly to do a proper sculpted top happens to the best of us. I think the soap came out absolutely beautiful. Do you just keep a bucket of plain water to hold your spatula and end of stick blender after you are done using them? Does that help with cleanup afterwards?

It really does, yes. After 17 years of doing this for a living, you'd think I'd know better, right? I keep a jug of water with dish soap in it to clean off my stick blender if I'm using more than one colour, but not all the time. It does help the stick blender to be cleaner before going into my dishwasher.
