So the 2nd Amendment is the right to bear arms , Arms doesnt mean just a pistol concealed. Lots of people think people who carry a rifle are doing it for attention but the truth is many aren't they are carrying it because we have the right to and we dont start showing that its not taboo to exercise that right beyond a pistol no one can see the rights will disappear the less its seen the more of a shocker it is when it is seen. I think alot more people who competent and capable and trained with their rifles should carry them in public. It only seems crazy and far right extreme to people who dont see beyond the point that its just for attention. In some ways it is for attention . Its to get the attention of the American People that this is YOUR RIGHT THIS IS OK. Not every person who has an AR-15 is a mass shooter and that is nothing more than a tool its the person that hurts people with it not the rifle. Open Carry of rifles is one of the few things stopping the demonizing of the AR-15. No one seems to think about that. If you are afraid of someone exercising their rights because of the rifle than you may want to rethink your support of the 2nd Amendment. You see to patriots its more about Fuck everyone who doesnt support the Constitution its our Right and if we dont exercise it, it will disappear. Last point to be made is when a man has an AR rifle and starts shooting the responding officers will use AR style rifles to stop him... No different than a man using a pistol to stop a pistol. If the person is trained with that rifle and lets be honest here and bust the myth... Police and Military are often NOT trained nearly as well as often as civilians are who own guns.Police shoot annual and bi annual quals some believe the training they had at the academy was all they needed and never get any more. Not all depts have AR15s... I have spoken to officers in Depts where they had to supply their own. So a well trained Civilian who passes every back ground check and thorough back ground check for a conceal is often far more qualified with that rifle than the average joe officer is... Now in saying that you should strongly take this into consideration... Police respond with the same rifle for a very good reason... Distance Accuracy and Capacity. A pistol concealed in the belt is not going to do much against a man wielding a rifle, would you really choose a low capacity short range often sub compact or compact pistol to cover the range and distance VS his AR and choose a pistol against a rifle? Consider the things I mention here and give it some thought. Then perhaps your perspective will change. Often people who open carry rifles are harassed by police and anyone in the community... this wouldn't be the case it was commonly seen and carried and common that the carrier had adequate proper training. No different than a security guard working armed at an event who isnt a cop accept that the security guard is likely far less trained. When it comes to every day carry yes its better to conceal however you never hear of a mass shooter in a crowd full of armed Citizens with AR-15s. Never. All those rallies at Nations Capitol Open Carry marches all those thousands in Virginia on their Capitol. When you hear of accidents and shootings its in Fly by night militia groups who claim they are prior military and trained lead by a complete moron where half the crowd has likely never had a single class on gun safety in their life. Real recognized militias and every day citizens not trying to intimidate others Not a single incident goes down. Hell even in NFC that wasn't even actually a shooting just accidents. All of this should be taken into consideration when forming your opinion on those who open carry. Ive been to many carry and open carry rallies myself everyone who shows has had training and or knows the basic rules of gun safety and actively practices them and we all watch each other and look out for each other.

Its frowned on by those who carry because they think the person carrying is stupid for carrying and forget that if no one carries open it becomes a taboo and frowned on and that right is easily pushed to be taken away by a community now terrified of the flashing of a gun on some American Home owner and tax payers hip or slung on his shoulder and it causes a big scene and the blame for causing the scene is put on the man carrying and not those complaining about a RIGHT... Then the person carrying is made into the bad guy and charged with disturbing the peace... When he was peaceful and did nothing to harm the peace and is attacked because someone cant handle Americans have Rights. Tough shit I say. Its a right I dont have to tip toe around feelings ITS OUR RIGHT EARNED IN BLOOD. Its not there for hunting its there for defense. Look we all understand there's been shootings but a very small number of shootings when you take into account 50 states with 279 million American Gun Owners, that doesn't mean that every man who owns a gun and carries it is a bad guy about to shoot others. That is the picture painted by the media and Liberal Americans who believe everything the tv says every time one shooting occurs they put the scare tactic out that its gonna happen everywhere and we need to take ALL THE GUNS. Its not the case and this is proven time and time again by huge gatherings of Americans Armed coming together to exercise their rights.
