We put everything up on pallets at our storage units, most of which are supplied by the facility. Even though the units appear to be tightly sealed, heavy rains and spring thaws always seem to get into the units anyway. It’s not six inches of water high; just that trickle that runs throughout the entire unit and ruining anything on the floor.

Just a thought I had, why not donate some of the old sheets and towels to a humane shelter? They'd probably be very thankful. If you plan on throwing them away, sheets towels and blankets are always needed.

I agree with you there Cyndi....its like you tell them your not interested they keep talking and when you hangup on them they just call back in a few days and say who they are and where they are from and ask if you can hear them ok of course most of the time they don't say who they are or where they are from clearly enough so you have to ask them all that again and when you say your not interested they keep talking....( sorry if this seems to long ).

Those knives around the 26:00 mark look like survival knives. The bottom of them (compass part) should unscrew, to hold a few supplies, like waterproof matches, cutting rope (to use with the two keyring-looking things).

If it was in good working order it could get $350, but the tune up will cost you about $150, so just wipe it down and sell it.

🇬🇧 Yep Grandma, you are quite right about money not being the only thing in life. I've watched other vids and saw one the other day where the guy took a crowbar to a safe. His greedy attitude was most distasteful and in future I'm only going to watch Wades Ventures. You want to make a living and as you take the risk you want to make cash too but I like your attitude. IF life sends you a bum locker you can laugh ruefully and move on. You may cuss off camera but you make the video very enjoyable for the watchers. Happy, Healthy and a Prosperous 2020. 😷 As well as the permanently missing box knife for this one you needed masks.

If you're trying to value the Azteca/Spanish language movie adverts, search with the term "movie cards" or "lobby cards" combined with the movie's name. If you don't flood the market with them, they can go for anywhere between $10-$100 + each, and yours appear to be in good condition. Buena suerte!.

I will probably say this every time I comment but..... I love your relationship with your mom. You two are hilarious and remind me of my mom ( her bd would have been today1-2) we laughed so much together. I love Denise saying, “ I can’t breathe and talk at the same time!” My husband can’t do anything simultaneously was my thought !😂😂😂 wear face mask so you don’t end up with respiratory problems please. It’s really not good for you you’ll find out as you get older. Thinking about your new curriculum you’re offering... just might need to do this. @25:46 the knives you found. It may be possible to unscrew the top of the handle where the compass is and you should find a "hiking survival kit". It's been a while since I had mine but if I remember correctly there was fishing line and matches in there. I can't remember what else. If this is the same one I had. Looks like it.

FYI that bike on the left looks to be a old racing bicycle. It has the old race saddle, old style brake cables and old style strap pedals. It could be worth a good bit of money.

Grandma Ventures we have a lot in common, and like you I am a very curious person lol, my late Dad always said it was because I am a Pisces bless him. Time 13:25 1980’s 10 Speed. Has 10 gears. The higher the gear the faster you go. Lower gears help decrease work load on hills. Someone will want that.

Confederate Air Force is a group that flies vintage warbirds. I believe they're still around, but they call themselves Commemorative Air Force now, Basically they're a flying Museum. they fly their planes to different places to show them off, they go to fly-ins and such.

That big glass plate there at 16:36 looks like pressed glass. Big difference in price. Could never afford the cut so I made myself happy with the pressed glass. The cut glass has sharper edges on the lines and the pressed has more smooth lines. Both pretty but nothing can come up to the cut glass.

how many conductors in the wire? looks like some I used to use. Used for commercial pa systems like in schools, and alarm systems. I got two partial rolls there were lots of partial rolls because we needed to pull a whole bunch of them together.

@@WadesVentures I've done a lot of jobs, I'm old. I know that what 20 years ago when we used similar wire, (this may be that old from the looks of things) they cost 600 dollars per roll. We had to use many rolls pulling them all together, so many rolls had a lot left on them. I took two home, the head electrician took a couple, and one of the other guys did too. Very useful stuff. I used it for lots of things, everything from tie down cord to splitting out the individual wires for use in electronic repairs. Even if you can't sell it, and I bet you can, you might consider hanging onto it, one roll anyway. Don't sell for scrap, it's worth more for it's intended purpose, speakers, alarm systems and such, it will not carry heavy voltage of course. Actually with people prewiring homes for all the smart home things, if it's many conductors, it's probably in more demand now than ever. Mostly it was for commercial use back in my day.

that wire goes with the alarm speaker and the security box. Do not destroy that box trying to open it. it loses all value if you do that.

The former owners sure spent a lot of money to store a bunch of useless junk; boxes of magazines (they appear to be current of the time), personal papers and other items of no monetary value. As always, we have to wonder WHAT were they thinking? “Well, I’ve got room in storage, let’s put it in there.” (?) “If I’m going to pay for a storage unit, that sucker had better be full!” (?) “The dump is closed. I’ll just throw this in the storage unit temporarily.”
