The 2020 TRD Pro also has remote start. Press the lock button on the remote 3 times slowly and on the third press hold it down for a few seconds. The parking lights will blink and it will start. You can also use the Toyota app on your phone wherever you are to start and lock/unlock it. You can also view vehicle status info.

Hey there, great to hear your viewpoint on the '20 coming from the '16. I just bought this exact truck last month in Canada. We get different all weather mats unfortunately. Quick question, how is the paint on yours in bright light? I notice if you look down it you can see little swirl marks and mine hasn't been through a touch car wash yet. I'm thinking about getting a wrap but that's expensive. Will you get yours wrapped to protect the paint?

If you're in a state that doesn't snow much but does have rain (texas, arizona etc.) get falken wildpeaks, if you are a place that snows more then get the ko2s

Does it feel like it nose dives when hitting the brakes a bit to hard? I just got a 2021 and I feel like it nose dives a bit. Maybe I might have to go easier on the brakes or maybe that is normal?

I am seriously considering trading up my 2017 TRD Pro for this model. Only problem is I have Cement grey which is the crazy rarest most desirable 4Runner color and it's holding it' resale very well.

even with the current COVID environment, do you still feel that dealers will be as strict with the pricing on these? car dealerships are getting crushed right now and many will probably go out of business. if anything, i'd imagine now would be one of the few times in which you might be able to score a deal on something like this?? also, do you feel getting it in another color at a lessor cost is worth it? army green is the premium color for 2020 and in higher demand then a white or grey, for example - which i imagine would be cheaper to purchase. You sure do love saying the word "significantly" a lot..great review though..and its about time that Toyota added those features to the 4runner(pushtostart, keyless entry, upgraded dash cluster)..my 2016 Tacoma had those features yet the 2016 4runner didn't and had no idea why Toyota waited so long

The 2020 4Runners and FJ Cruiser roof racks are either the same or very similar. One of the things that impress me about my FJ is my brakes and I have a sneaky feeling that it has about the same feel as the 2020 4Runner. And lastly I feel that its worth noting that my FJ and your 4Runner are the same color. Cool huh? Except I have a white top without the crawl feature. boo hoo hoo. Hey thanks for putting this up its interesting to get the outlook from an owners point of view. And it was an interesting story how you came to buy your 4Runner. I got my FJ for my birthday but I had to make the monthly payments.

Push button start is a turnoff to be honest, if you think about the fact this truck is made to go places where normal trucks would break sweat. The key start is more reliable than push button.

I would have kept the 2016 and waited to see what the 6th Gen will look like. Especially after Toyota announced that the new "Trail" (SR5) will be offered in Army Green.

How hard is it to get that dumb infomation council out and have a nice CD player installed. Nice color, but older models have CD players in them.

Should have traded in your 2016 for the 2019 ...TRD PRO Voo Doo Blue ...... Green is just not doing anything ..
