Recording in a public place is lawful so therefore allowed and according to the criminal justice act 1972 section 33 which defines what a public place is, *( “Public place” includes any highway and any other premises or place to which at the material time the public have or are permitted to have access, whether on payment or otherwise ”.)* So if it's a public place where you can lawfully be then you can record what you are doing in that public place because that is lawful too. If I can be there then I can be there with a bodycam.

That’s wrong. A Subject Access Request is for your own data. A FOI request can be on anything, particularly matters of public interest. They can be refused if too time consuming or if the requests are frequent and become vexatious.
