THANK YOU SO MUCH!! I have watched hundreds of videos regarding ielts writing. I have been taking ielts for the last 6 months. All of which i scored 6.5 for writing,8.5 for speaking,7 for reading and 8.5 for listening. I was so frustrated until I found this video! I watched this 6 times before I had my 4th try and guess what?? I finally got 7.0 for writing. Keep doing videos Oli! They are very helpful!

Here I'm gonna say my personal experience. Whatever you do your focus is important and give maximum as you can. I worked hard for 21 days and got 7. It is possible and go with KZfaq videos and get to know the strategies. IELTS is based about how you use your skills. Good luck

I got a Band 7 in IELTS Writing and Overall Band 7; thanks to Teacher Oli for his help and advice. I took online classes with my teacher and he gave me great guidance to achieve this during my preparation for my exam. He is professional, helpful and, one of the best teachers I have ever met. Writing has turned into a nightmare for me too. I took a pilot exam before I take the real test and my marks goes like this: Listening:8.5 Reading:7 Speaking:8 Writing: 6.5 6.5 is good enough for me since my other marks makes my overall high enough for my purpose. But it still bothers me, I should not go bellow 6. This friday I'm having the real exam, we will see what happens. Really clear video by the way. Thank you!

Great Video, Thanks a lot for sharing these important advises. my main problem with writing is that I don't like writing even in my own language. I usually become distracted with many ideas and lose tracks for what I want to say and I ended with wasting valuable time. it's a curse for me.

Oli thanks for the lessons. I just got my eilts results and i scored band 7.5 overall with my least score being band 7 in writing and the highest score being 8.5 in listening. I got 7.5 in the other two modules. Once again thanks for the lessons here on youtube.

I only watched this this video before doing my 3rd ielts, 1st i got 6.5 in writing then 6 and then after the 3rd time got 7 in writing thanks to this video.
