My husband been on this since he went in the hospital on June 22nd,since he went in ambulance .....And they admitted him on June 22nd 2021.....And he was discharged on June 30th 2o21.......thanks this video on how do this correctly the concentrator....../My husband acute respiratory failure hypercania.....He had see a pulmonologist on August 12th 2021......See what there going do about his oxygen off it or not.......He has Cfh,COPD and Pulmonary edema fluid in the heart........Hes on 3 liters of oxygen.......

The old green tubing for High flow one could not see thru, now one can see thru it. The manufacturer has made the thickness of the tubing thinner and the kinks are less forgiving. Once kinked replace it.

I was helping a friend today who has one, I changed the water, and moved it a few inches, then moved it back, and he just called and said it is just buzzing, it won't work. Any ideas?

If you are suffering from COPD use Oxygen concentrator with precaution, in case the Oxygen level is not rising even after 5 minutes of use consult your doctor. Get the CO2 level in your lungs checked.

What do these machines do if they're left to run in a confined space? assuming that they detect that they have markedly reduced supply of oxygen to concentrate, and excess concentration of nitrogen as well? Do they alarm if this happens, or keep cycling the nitrogen in and out even after the availability of oxygen is gone? Thank you.

dear meyers the machine should be kept in ventillated aresso that i can give 90% oxygen.. there is no prblm if u get nitogen... if get blow 80% some companies have an kept an oxygen analiser which gives an alarm... and some kept sieve bed pressure alarm which means there is malfunction

It removes oxygen from the air and give you 90% oxygen. The air with less oxygen is dumped out into the room.

+Mansoor M.K While it wasn't directly named in the video, she did, at one point, mention that it is best to use distilled water in the bottle, as tap water can leave mineral deposits.

My husband doesnt like the green light on the concentrator........It keeps him awake..........My husband on this since June 3oth ,2021........I was making sure it wasn't pinched........He has COPD and CFH,........His o2s keep dropping....... nightmare I called ambulance husband on June 22nd,2021......And he in chronic respiratory failure in hypercania........He's was in the 50s he got the er....And this been a nightmare my husband's been on this almost a month........

My mom doesn't walk that much...just from the living room chair to the bathroom. But when she does, the tubing gets tangled around her feet and I'm afraid she will trip. I've thought about the spiral retractable air hoses used in repair shops, but I can't find something light that can be pulled around by an 88 year old woman. Any suggestions? Maybe mount a track on the ceiling to keep the tubing off the ground?

I know this post is 4 years old, and your circumstances are likely to have changed. I just wanted to congratulate you and thank you for being so good to your mother and conscientious of her needs. So many men (and some women) do the bare minimum and walk away...

I got my oxygen concentrator from o2Ample and it was much more easier then this one, all I did was plug it in added water and started it, and it came with a manual and everything it was much more smaller and did as much and probably even better then this huge one.

I wish you showed what to do when you find condensation in the O2 tube. I feel like I'm being waterboarded with the oxygen pushing drops of water in my nose.

You can order a water trap for your tubing. It works as a connector and will catch any moisture before it makes it to your nasal cannulas.

Can u used an oxygen concentrator in medical emergency like for example u suffer from heart attack or pulmonenia virus u cannot breath properly cause ur lungs is losing a lot of oxygen can used it in case of emergency when the ambulance is not there yet or it takes time to someone take you in a hospital

Edgar Lindo more oxygen is always helpful but these machine can’t produce enough of flow rate , around 25 liters per minute on a non rebreather or bag valve mask is necessary where someone is in respiratory arrest

Always best to used distilled water... How about ONLY used distilled water. A lady just was on the new for losing her face because she used a netty pot with tap water. You should see the gunk in the bottom of our house dehumidifiers from using tap water.

Those tanks you see are not part of the machine. The concentrator machine is basically a pressurized sieve that splits the oxygen and nitrogen in the air, expels the nitrogen and mixes the remaining oxygen back into the breathing tubes.
