I live in kota & trust me i have a year to give my jee exam but still i haven't got enough confidence to tackle up studies & then i see this guy, he scored well to make his parents happy & side by side attended Talks of entrepreneurs at such a tender age. I am writing this from a oyo hotel roomin Indonesia. It was really good experience and happy to see an Indian start-up doing this world wide.. To all the naysayers this model is different from Air BnB and we should encourage entrepreneurs like him rather than pilling him down..

You know if you play pubg and upload it on KZfaq, you can earn? I know you have to work for it. Record it, play amazingly (Headshot pe headshot), commentary, etc but don't you think that it is actually wrong to tell that games are worthless. I think games can also bag you money(not much as him) if you just think. So rather than dissing games tell, hell, encourage them to change their thinking and apply it. He makes me inspirational and think new ideas with the Indian market. I am working in hotel industry for 20 years and it's a good way to capture middle class market. There is also a big luxury market which is dominating by Marriott and Accor and other groups.

Oyo is running the show and a start-up across the Globe without any employee from the Hotel or Hospitality background...and has already started to Descend from Thousand of Employees laidoff globally to a very small no of Employees... Can a Hospital hire a Non Medical student to be a Doctor... The great boy from Orissa feels that by hiring people who are not experienced from Property background and Facilities Management industry can still be better than the professional because he saves the cost... He thought big but nobody guided him that this way he would see a Big Drop in the his business because if he doesn't hire skilled professionals it would not sustain long...

Being innovative needs time and money. A good background of family in terms of finance. In India we do engineering and tend to approach in that way in which institute teaches or the each sem syllabus Where we get time for thinking innovative and executing it

OYO is a hotel chain that is masquerading as a tech company, burning through hundreds of millions of dollars a year with a fundamentally flawed business model. The smart investor will avoid the IPO. So true ...we r in hotel business we own a resort and all the resort owner and union have decided not to tie up with oyo...they will make you sign the agreement of 1yr or 6 months and then they will accomodate your rooms at damn cheap price like 700-800 rs and if the customers check out late they will charge them but you won't receive a penny for overtime ...then they will show that how you have to pay them more then what they have given....for eg .like they will give you business or customer accommodation of 200000 rs per month and show that you have loan of 250000(I don't remember exact word... so loan) and then you need to pay them 50k which is like you are doing business in loss and if you don't pay they will sue you....

All brothers and sisters, plz read how OYO rooms do fraud. We all work hard, save money for vacation and make advance payment to confirm booking so that we get good room at good location at low price, because last minute booking are 4 to 5 times costlier than advance booking. Plz read and share so that non of our brother or sister is thuged. While booking they will show u 1 property. Now we r relexd once booking is done in advance. people never reconfirms booking before visit. Here OYO fraudsters take advantage. When u are at door step of hotel then they will say, due to over booking or tie-up with hotel is expired and room is not available and then they offer cheap and 3rd class rooms. You have to accept that sub standard room as due to pick season all other good hotels room are booked and if any room is available, it's price is sky rocking...above all OYO will not refund your money as they are offering you alternative room and you are cancel it in last moment. This is how fraud is done by OYO group. Share with all friend and save them from getting thugged.

Oyo rooms these days only a paradise for unmarried couples. They use it for 2-3 hts and in one day room takes 4-5 new customers. Profit is going sky high.

This Guy is cheating hotel owners with aggressive tactics and puts hidden charges with partners and hadn't paid so many building owners rent for months...this guy is a fraud and his former partner has written about his Hidden face and cheating tactics...he will fall sooner or later.

@@ExistentialismEnjoyer I read an article a month ago by someone who worked in his team, then he parted ways. I don't have the article link now and need to search on Google to find..but he did mention Ritesh is very intelligent and pulled off a good concept and was doing fine early on, but later his business practices became unethical, cheating with hotel partners because he wants to grow and expand at their expense. I personally know 2 people cheated by Oyo, one have his building to Oyo for rent and he hasn't received rent for last 3 months and Oyo left the premises without any notice... Oyo owes RS 12 lakhs dues, besides he had spent 80lakhs on interiors as per oyo requirements ..now he is under big losses and put cheating case on Oyo.
