The key take away from this video is to be aware of the health hazards associated with portable ozone generators as well as the potential to damage your hunting gear. Repeated exposures to high ozone concentrations can cause damage to the lungs, chest pain, coughing, shortness of breath and throat irritation. It may also worsen conditions such as asthma. Ozone will attack rubber/elastomeric material making it lose its elasticity. Suspenders or waste bands with built in elastic will stretch out and lose the ability to snap back.

Good Information! My question is when I have washed my cloths in scent free detergent, stored in air tight containers, and ozone before use in am …..how long a cycle should I run the next day considering I stayed on stand all day?

@@gmatthewpaul I would keep it to low minutes to extend life of your gear/equipment. I feel once you charge container good with ozone letting it sit a while can also have a positive impact without having to run the unit for long periods imo, no test data, just observation of residual ozone odor after sitting long periods after unit had been shut off. Would make sure you don’t include fall protection equipment so it isn’t potentially compromised by the ozone.
