See what I wrote in a few posts up from yours about using this in one of my fish tanks. It keeps my water in the tank just as clear it makes my fish look like they are floating on air but when I tested my chems in the tank it showed that it didn't really kill the natural bacteria in the tank. So I really wouldn't trust it to clean my drinking water to a level that it would be safe to drink if I wasn't sure of the water source. If it would have killed all the good and bad bacteria in my fish tank all the nitrate and ammonia levels would spiked really badly and they didn't so that tells me it doesn't kill much or if any bacteria at all.

Hi Ralph, yes it should work with oil too. I ozonated water with it, oil will work the same way.

@@360surprise no cannot use in oil because OZONE only concentrate in cool water whenever you have to use oil you must need to boiled first so i don't think so that it can work in oil

Nenad Kukuljan the white stone is for water. Dark stone is for oil. Put the dark stone in olive oil and it makes a great antiseptic.

Every house in USA built after about 1970 has 220V in it! (well before as all power into the main power box is always 220V, but harder to find). If you have baseboard electric, it is 220V. If you have a clothes dryer, it is 220V. If your kitchen outlets are the usual split style, from one hot in the upper outlet to the other hot, in the lower outlet will have a 220V difference. Ask an electronically apt person to test for you. Of course you could always just buy a 110V unit as they are the ozone generators are usually well under 100 watts (think old light bulb wattage).

Grey stone is for oil, although you may use it for water also.

Hi Jackie, if you order an Ozonator from Amazon it should have a normal plug that fits into Canadian sockets. Otherwise if not you can always just get a adapter for $5 that will make it fit. I hope that helped a bit :)

Hi lezolei, I understand your concerns. It shouldn't be dangerous. That's weird that you're smelling gas. When I'm purifying water, it smells a bit similar to chlorine. But I haven't heard that it's dangerous being in the same room. I know other people using the ozone generator indoors too. Hope I could help a bit

Ozone is a toxic gas, if you're purifying a room you should leave the windows open and give it 4 hours before going back in, to say that the advertising on this is misleading would honestly be an understatement, it causes permanent damage to your lungs if you expose yourself to it multiple times

o3 is not dangerous - its the nitrogen combounds reacting with that are dangerous, so there are ways to use it safely and in fact it's being used extensively in medicine and food products.

Then the ozone will not "grab" in the water particles, because the stone role is to mix the ozone in the water molucules (oxygen and hydrogen).

Hey Mark, I seen no one answered your post so I thought I would tell you what I know about the product. I have this very unit in this video. However, I use mine in my 50 gal fish thank and it keeps the water very clear. Almost to the point that the fish look as if they are floating in air. I have no algae in the tank what so ever. I mean none...and in the fish keeping world that is almost impossable but I do it and it does not harm any of my plants, fish. My water chems always come out good so it doesn't mess with any of the good bacteria in the tank so that makes me think ...hummmm. However, one evening I just got some new stones in ( I reorder new stones because in the fish tank they stay in the water all the time and I will get fresh ones every once in a while. One day I got in some new air stones and I had a glass of black tea setting on the end table and I just hooked it all up and stuck the air stone in the tea glass and turned it on. After about 2 minutes the tea settled to the bottom of the glass and the water above the tea was clear as it could be. I took a small sip of the tea in the glass and all I could taste was the water but I got a spoon and just stirred it back up again and it tasted like tea. So what I am thinking to answer you question, I think it would work on tap water and it wall make the bad stuff settle to the bottom of the container and if you can take the water off the top it would be good and clean but if you mess around and move it to much you will just stir it right back up again. So I don't think it would be really a good way to clean your water to drink unless you can figure out some way to get it off the top without getting the unclean water from the bottom. So, since it doesn't bother the good bacteria in the fish tank I wouldn't use it thinking it will kill the bacteria in my drinking water. So all and all I don't think I would depend on this to clean up my drinking water and thinking it was safe to drink.
