The only reason the ozone smelled after is because it wasn’t given enough time to dissipate.

Ozone the best after fire restoration, and great for getting rid of rats, mice, bugs at 4ppm. Need to shock building with atleast 40,000 mg in 1hr.

Put simply, ozone needs to be used responsibly, because, it works. Hydroxyl simply takes too long, and cannot achieve the same level of oxidation.

If you cannot achieve odor removal and you feel it is taking to long to use Hydroxyl then you are either doing it wrong or you are using the wrong machine. I can get odor out of anything with my Boss machine and it works very fast.

@@FirehouseEducation I'm not claiming it won't work, it just takes a heck of a lot longer than ozone. For certain situations, hydroxyl is necessary, for example in structures that cannot be vacated. Hydroxyl is a handgun, ozone is a bazooka.

Us a hydroxyl machine to get rid of the odor. This is why I dont use Ozone anymore.

@@matthewthorp-cm6zn It depends on how bad the smell is but I would say about 2 to 3 days probably. And be sure you are not using a Titan machine.

, I have asthma and am looking into how to get rid of odors from cooking in the kitchen. Would you happen to have any suggestions for occasional chemical free applications? What is wrong with a Titan machine?

Thanks for sharing you experience. I'm unsure about the safety of using plasmawave (hydroxyl generator) on a winix air purifier.

There have been lots of studies done on the machines I use and they are perfectly safe for use indoors and around humans. The air scrubbers that we use are also safe to use in conjunction with them.

Bedbugs aren’t the only nasties on your bed. You have to consider dust mites which you have been graciously feeding with your dead skin cells. A steam cleaner will send both to the Big Adios in the Sky. Then use your Hydroxl generator to remediate the vapor content of your bedroom. These creatures maybe tiny but they can put you in a gigantic suffering. Do not adopt a namby-pamby attitude instead go full Gen. Patton on them.
