9 жыл бұрынSegment from an Ozzie and Harriet program, where Ozzie dreams of eating Tutti Frutti ice cream at an actual ice cream parlor in the town where he grew up. During the clip Harriet, a former big band singer with Ozzie's orchestra, sings the song Goody Goody and dances the Charleston.
Ozzie plays the banjo for accompaniment, and Harriet is backed up by The Four Preps. Rick sings here, and Dave in a rare instance chimes in to.

I imagine you know that in the “good ole days” if someone said “She can really cut a rug” that was slang for “She’s a really good dancer.” Yowzah!

david actually had a very pleasant voice. He was kind of overlooked, what with ozzie and harriet as his parents and Ricky as his brother. but he was very successful, a great acter, directer and producer. rip Ozzie, Harriet, David and Ricky, America's favorite family.

Harriet is amazing at this filming she's what, 50 yrs plus and look at how great and smooth she moves!!

Harriet was 48 at the time. If she had done this dance when younger it would have been as a teenager in the Roaring Twenties. Her smile seems so genuine. You have to believe she was really enjoying herself here, and as you say outclassing her younger back up dancers.

Did Ozzie get heart disease from eating 2 quarts of ice cream everyday,on the TV show he had ice cream on all the episodes.

He passed on from liver cancer.

@@CarlDuke When I was younger the news said he died of Lung Cancer. Ozzie never smoked.
