Trovo rispettosissimo che un grande chitarrista come Zakk riproponga fedelmente l'assolo originale di Mr Crowley, è un grande atto di umiltà ed un giusto tributo a Randy Rhoads.

no sir,not merely one of the best,as far as undeniable, and distinguishable voices go,consistency of great rock songs, and ALWAYS having the absolute best guitarist that was never overshadowed by Ozzy but was an equal and a compliment to his voice, plus the frontman of the great Black Sabbath, still influencing ever metal band that exists today, OZZY OSBOURNE is THE GREATEST FRONT MAN EVER,and in spite of the hard living, has outlived all them all and is still performing, and nailing it.A true living legend and the blueprint of how its done.UNTOUCHABLE.

Drums by Tommy Clufetos. Bass by? Keyboards by? Zakk and Ozzy together again, hardly matters who else plays. (Tommy Clufetos played drums for the Sabbath reunion tour, too, although Audioslave drummer Brad Wilk played drums in the studio for their reunion album 13.)

@@karimoon5323 Well, leaving aside the fact that more than half your post made absolutely no sense? And that your caps lock was left on, so your post was yelling obnoxiously the whole time, which I attribute to people with lower IQs, and to people who don't comprehend the subtle nuances of social media, or the fine art of communicating on the internet at all, period. Because if you understood that particular art? You'd realize how rude it is leaving your caps lock on for your entire post. You need not make your point by yelling, and if you understood the concept of communicating online? You'd realize how rude you were being by yelling. It undermines the validity of your entire post, and any point you were trying to make. Even if you had any valid points. Which I didn't feel you did, because I'm 100% certain I've been a fan of heavy metal, Ozzy, and Black Sabbath since *WAY* before you were even born, thanks so very much. I'm 59 years old, and I'm quite certain your parents hadn't even been born back when I started listening to Black Sabbath. I was in 3rd grade the first time I heard Black Sabbath's Paranoid album. How old were you? Bet you weren't still in grade school. That was long before you were anywhere near the planet, let alone even in the vicinity of being conceived, yet. (And notice I chastised you without yelling at you. It's Teddy Roosevelt's old adage: "Talk softly, and carry a big stick." My big stick is how much more I know about metal, especially old school metal, than you'll ever know.) So I didn't know who was playing on this song, other than Zakk Wylde. It was probably Tommy Clufetos on drums, though, but I'd be guessing on keys and bass, because Ozzy changes band members as often as he changes his underwear. Big deal. I'm still a true fan of Ozzy. And Black Sabbath. I've seen them both live. Back before they parted company the first time. I saw Black Sabbath live during their Never Say Die tour in 1979, before Ozzy left to launch his solo career. (Although there is still some argument that he got fired from Sabbath because of his excessive drinking; Ozzy claims he left/quit Sabbath to start his solo career, which, if you're a true Ozzy fan? You know that band was originally supposed to be called Blizzard of Ozz, back when Bob Daisely and Lee Kerslake were still in the band. Sharon Osbourne, Ozzy's wife and long-time manager, thought that the band should just be Ozzy Osbourne, and whoever Ozzy hired to be in the band with him, even though that's not how the band was originally conceived.) In fact, Van Halen was opening for Black Sabbath, and their second album, Van Halen II, had only just been released. Sammy Hagar was on tour opening for Boston, and both those tours met at Anaheim Stadium, back in the day when the baseball team was simply called the California Angels, not the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, as they are now. And Anaheim Stadium was still Anaheim Stadium/Angel Stadium. And the Honda Center and parking lot across the freeway from Angel Stadium was still just an empty field, with lots of weeds, tumbleweeds, and dirt. Anyway. So basically Boston and Black Sabbath were co-headliners, and Sammy Hagar and Van Halen were co-openers. Sammy opened, then Van Halen, then Sabbath, then Boston closed the show. Tom Scholz, Boston's primary songwriter and their record producer, played a full-blown pipe organ solo, with a cathedral size organ and a full back wall of real pipes, used just for the keyboard solo before "Hitch a Ride." If I remember correctly. Either that song or "Smokin'". And that was 41 years ago. When I was still a senior in high school. I saw Ozzy live, too, back when Randy Rhoads was still alive, before the plane crash that killed Randy. 1981, I believe. Been a minute. (In fact, the original incarnation of Motorhead actually opened for Ozzy, and, I'm pretty sure they were actually even louder than Ozzy's band, opening act or not. But, I was there when Motorhead was still a power trio, fronted by Ian "Lemmy" Kilmister on bass and lead vocals, Fast Eddie Clark was still shredding on guitar, and Phil "Philthy Animal" Taylor was still wailing away at the drum kit. Now, of course, Lemmy, Eddie, and Phil are all no longer with us, sadly. I hope they're rocking together again, wherever they ended up.) By that show, Ozzy had already fired bassist and main co-songwriter Bob Daisely, who played bass on both Blizzard of Ozz *AND* Diary of a Madman, and Lee Kerslake, also the drummer for the original first two versions of those albums. (Which I once owned on vinyl. Lost in my divorce. Recovered them. Then lost them again in my second storage unit auction 6 years ago.) But by the time Ozzy's tour got to California, and the Fabulous Forum in Los Angeles where I saw them play, Tommy Aldridge was slamming the skins, and Rudy Sarzo was hammering the bass. I don't recall a keyboardist, but there may have been one backstage, possibly Don Airy, but not sure since it was about 40 years ago or so. Hard to say whether or not the keyboard introduction on "Mr. Crowley" was prerecorded, but I suspect it might have been. I just didn't really see any signs of a keyboardist hiding backstage. And several other bands I'm quite certain your very young self has quite likely never even heard of. But I did own every Black Sabbath album on vinyl, from their very first eponymous album, all the way through Live Evil with Ronnie James Dio. And every Ozzy album through Ozzmosis. I don't really care what you say or think to the contrary, but I say that still makes me a fan. A much truer fan than you claim to be, and, certainly a longer-lasting fan than you will ever be, because I've been a fan far longer than you've even been alive. Speaking of DIO ... I saw DIO live, too, at least three times, I think. The first time was on the Last In Line tour, with Accept, and Rough Cutt opening, and Viv Campbell on guitar. The second time I saw DIO live was on the Sacred Heart tour, with Craig Goldy on guitar. Savatage and Megadeth were the opening bands on that tour. East coast, while I was still in the Navy for the first two concerts. The last time I saw Ronnie was on the Dream Evil tour, and Megadeth opened that tour, too. I also met Ronnie in person at a songwriting symposium in L.A. I was wearing a bootleg t-shirt that I bought in the parking lot after the Dream Evil concert, and it had DIOs Dream Evil album cover art on the front, and Megadeth's Peace Sells album cover art on the back. Ronnie didn't care, he just really loved the shirt, even when I confessed to him it was a bootleg. 🙂 I even told him I'd gone to a fair once and happened across an air brush t-shirt artist, and he airbrushed the cover of Holy Diver on a t-shirt for me, just based on the cassette artwork I gave him. Since CDs hadn't yet come into existence, or popularity, at the time of Holy Diver, anyway. Ronnie was very fan friendly, and appreciated that I was a fan and took the time out after the symposium to wait and talk with him. I was just happy meeting him. Having a conversation with him. I didn't even want an autograph, but he insisted on giving me one, anyway. But he was very self-conscious about his height. That I remember very vividly. He was only like 5'2", if that, so when he came over to talk with me, he only descended just enough stairs from the stage they'd all been sitting on, so that he would be at eye level with me. (And at 5'11" myself, I'm not all that tall; but, still; 9" taller than Ronnie was seemed more than taller enough than he was for his personal comfort level.) I owned more than 1,000 vinyl albums, mostly all heavy metal, going back to Judas Priest's debut album Rocka Rolla, when the album cover art was still the bottle cap that looked like a Coca Cola bottle cap, but said Rocka Rolla in that Coca Cola font. I owned more than 500 CDs, most of which were metal, and over 400 cassette tapes, the majority of which were metal. I lost them all, about 2,000 albums, in my second storage unit auction, because I was broke and homeless, and couldn't afford to keep them. Pretty sure all that makes me far more of a true heavy metal fan, who has been one since well before you were born. So your posing and posturing, telling me to go back to listening to pop music because I'm not a true metal fan? Won't fly. I've been alive longer than you, and have been a metal fan longer than you have been, too. I had a few financial issues along the way in the past 8 years, so I lost most all of my physical album collection, but I've probably forgotten more about metal than you'll ever know. And since I forget very little? That's saying something. 🙂 So, maybe consider judging me a little less harshly, just because I didn't recognize a couple of the musicians in Ozzy's lineup for this video. Besides all that? Knowing Ozzy, and knowing Zakk? That version of Ozzy's band has probably already dissolved, and Ozzy probably has a whole new set of unknowns playing behind him. If you know who they are? Instead of castigating me for not knowing? Why not show off your knowledge and tell me who they are? Or were you just slamming me so you wouldn't have to let on that you don't know who they were any better than I did? I'm a dyed in the wool metal head. From your comment? You're just a poser, pretending to be a metal fan. A true metal head would have just said who they were, and politely moved on, not slagged me off because I didn't know two of Ozzy's touring band members in one video.
