Maravillosa interpretación de esta 5ta. sinfonía de Tchaicovsky. IMPECABLE!!!

Que maravilla de música, seguramente inspirada por Dios. Que maravilla de interpretación, excelentes músicos, excelente director, todo se conjuga para brindarnos una obra músical impecable y genial, que acaricia y conmueve el alma. Gracias por tanta belleza musical en un vídeo excelente.

Me gusta ver los videos de la Sinfónica de Galicia por la excelente realización de los videos. Muy diferente de los conciertos estáticos llenos de planos generales que no aportan nada. Dinámismo, ritmo y criterio musical exquisito para saber dónde enfocar en cada momento.

Esta Sinfonía es una de las más notables de Tchaikovsky. Excelente orquesta, grandes los músicos y gran director. Nos emociona sobremanera escuchar y disfrutar de esta gran obra musical. Aplauso y ¡Bravo!

I played horn for some 30 years and I’ve listened closely to just about every recording of this symphony. I have to say that this performance and, particularly, David Bushnell’s solo in the 2nd movement is among the finest I’ve heard. What a jewell of an orchestra!

De mis selecciones de esta Sinfonía siempre oigo esta versión . El Director le da el sonido justo. Es una Sinfonía que puede caer en el estrépito de los metales como en otras versiones. Hermosa .

When one listen to the last three symphonies of this genius, one cannot help but lamenting that there was nobody available at the time to step in and help this man....I sincerely think that at the 4th it was already visible where Tsjaikovski was heading, that at the 5th there was still hope of saving him, but also that it was clear, straight from the beginning of the 6th, that at that moment there was nothing that could be done anymore to save him from his fate.

Such dynamic, pleasant memories of the early seventies, when I bought that Columbia Masterworks LP featuring Leonard Bernstein and the New York Philharmonic in Soviet Russia. This symphony became a chief component of the foundation of my music appreciation and creative growth. “Music expresses wordless odysseys.” The second movement is so romantic riveting and soul soothing melancholic sweet. Wunderschöne Aufführung dieses romantischen Meisterwerks mit seidigen Töne aller Streicher, milden Töne aller Holzbläser und, vor allem, brillanten Töne aller Metallbläser. Der geniale Dirigent leitet das perfekt trainierte Orchester im gut phrasierten Tempo mit völlig effektiver Dynamik. Echt ausgezeichnet!

Bueno, creo que sí se puede decir que es una magistral interpretación, primera vez que veo a este director, pero si ha hecho un trabajo fenomenal aquí, puedo decir que me ha gustado mucho. El solo de corno en el segundo movimiento (segundo tiempo) muy evocativo y nostálgico. Para vuestra colección de discos en casa, sugiero la quita sinfonía de Chaikovski con la Philharmonia Orchestra dirigida por Leopold Stokowski, (con Alan Civil, solo de corno, segundo tiempo).

What a fabulous orchestra with a horn section to die for! I don't agree with some of the tempi chosen by the Maestro but that didn't undermine my thorough enjoyment of this extraordinary piece. Great performance! However, I have one complaint about their backstage technician, actually. How I wish the technician would increase the sound volume in order for us internet audiences worldwide to enjoy the concert to the fullest. Though I maximise the sound volume of my PC loudspeaker, its sonorous response remains rather minimal, to say the least.
