I’ve been fighting my addiction. It ain’t no joke, I’m 22 and single and I really do wanna stop, i feel like I’m in too deep. Even tho I don’t watch porn or mast^* *te as much as I did when I was ignorant to my doings it’s super tough to stop completely. I’m slowing losing my appetite for it.

The accuracy in the message! I should not have ignored the red flags when I arrived home and my ex was viewing the videos on his phone. He claimed that he wanted me to view it with him. I took offense! This turned into me checking his phone to find that he had various videos of different types favorited on a certain website. He minimized it earlier on in our relationship, and then later on admitted to having an addiction. It definitely caused insecurities on my part. I will never subject myself to a man that engages in that type of behavior again, even if it means staying single for the remainder of my days in this physical body!

I had an addiction to porn for years and I went cold Turkey. I believe my addiction stemmed from me being molested when I was a child, but I’ve been 8 years cold Turkey now. My ex had the same addiction including a sex addiction. His addictions almost brought back my addiction but I wasn’t gonna let that happen.

I went to him as a caring person. He wasnt as loosey goosey but again this unquenchable desire for the stick!! Like a very intrusive thought. Really not my own thought but a perverted whisper of an idea that if not rejected and rejected, takes over ur belief. Demons and diseases are sexually transmitted and they are not easy to get rid of one bit. A guy I stopped relations with after 4 months (ian) had not left my mind even after 4 years. I would spend hours just replaying our s encounters in my head, not knowing I was feeding that lust even more and depriving my own focus on school. Please young ladies who still have not been totally ran through, let's be determined to stop giving these boys our most prized possessions. We are the ones losing. For a while i was addicted to masterbation and i would justify it by telling myself that at least im not out having sex with different men. I took time to reevaluate my life and was able to overcome that feeling and lust. Now i just focus on bettering myself in other ways like education. Although I have never had issues attracting a man, I became extremely self conscious of my body and felt substandard as I foolishly compared myself with the fantasy, the women in the video. To this day, his respect for women is really low, I couldn't stay with him. About a year ago, my daughter was upset and shouted at her dad about all she'd witness with him and his addiction to porn.
