1. A mature man is NOT a perfect man. He is a work in progress. 2. If a man is getting drunk and high, he's NOT mature man. 3. If a man is still going to a regular club or strip club, he's NOT a mature man. 4. A mature man will NOT be jealous, controlling, and insecure, but becomes confident. 5. A mature man will NOT expect you to pay your half for a date. 6. A mature is NOT going to expect anything in return. 7. A mature will NOT coerce you into the bed. He will spend more time getting to know you better. This was a great message. I'm taking notes and using this to improve myself as well.

I had a man who paid for everything for 20+ years. Every thing. I never had to work. Never paid for a date or part of one, lol. Cheating was never an issue. Nor abuse. He wasn’t perfect but he was worth his weight in gold. It’s very possible to find one, ladies.

I stopped going to the club when one guy asked for my number and I gave it to him. Never heard from him at all. Ended up seeing the same dude at a different club probably a few weeks later and he asked for my number again 🙄. Had no recollection we had met before. That's when I realized guys in the club are a complete joke and I was wasting my time. That was in my mid 20s haven't been back since!

My godmother always said that you should never look for a relationship in the club. It saved me a lot of time because it was never my intention to entertain these men as potential suitors. Yet when I shared that advice with friends that were always looking for the "one" in a club setting, I was the hater. Well sis, tell me how that worked out for you?!?! (It didn't!)

12:50 I just told an ex boyfriend today, that I would not marry him for these same reasons. I prayed on it Wed., by Thurs. God showed me that he wasn't the one and Friday, I told him no and why. Hours later, I ran into this video. Just another confirmation that I made the right decision. *** I felt the right answer was no when he asked but I just wanted to be absolutely sure. So, I went to God in prayer.

The second time left me traumatized. There’s nothing there for me and when I’m asked to go out to the club it’s just a no for me. It’s frightening as a woman we can’t even go out in the day time and not be safe. I’ll pass on the night time especially. However, what I allowed were the red flags. He is also a pyschopath. Just because they look good, smell good and have a good job makes them good. That’s all apart of the game with a narcissist! This right here... I am seeing a difference in my perspective since I’ve been listening to Tony. I recently met a man and I will tell you I am using this knowledge to weed out the real men from grown boys. I am seeing the difference between a man that is really interested in getting to know me and the ones that just want to get me in bed! I’m applying what I’m learning from Tony and I’m telling y’all it’s working!

I started clubbing at 18-21 I stopped years ago when it got played out, I was tired of two stepping to lame music, hanging out with dramatic friends, fights and drunks. I knew it was no place to meet a guy. Really no place is good to meet a guy especially when they already have I'll intentions. I believe meeting a good guy is one of those things that happens out of the blue when you least expect it.

Tony....I am near tears (From Brooklyn, NY - you'll NEVER see that happen, lol) You inspired me No man is perfect - but I found it! The perfect FOR ME man. I just sent him the following message (we have been apart since Thanksgiving as I am house hunting!😄) THANK YOU BROTHA -you feed my soul Lawrence your not perfect (eventhough you may think so), we don't think the same way, we go about shit differently.... You don't see - that's what I like! I'm not wanting/looking for my parallel, then you would lack the same shit I do But....if you are a different size puzzle piece, together - we can make a whole picture You got to have what I don't to complete the picture You don't complete something by adding more of what you already got The difference and patience, allows me to grow, see things in a different light I I won't always agree or approve But....two different ways is better than one And because something is different, doesn't necessarily mean worse, doesn't imply better Different is NOT THE SAME Different -Could be better -Could be worse +Definitely not the same, tho I'm just saying

I dont drink, dont smoke, nor do I go to clubs.... however, b/c I wanted him n my life and I tried to look past his behavior but deep down inside, I knew this was not someone or something I wanted to accept. It didnt settle well n my spirit. Months later, he left me for a MUCH younger woman (girl)

Lauren Luv circumstances help men mature. We have to be under circumstances where we have no where to go but in the direction of where we see in mind.. prime example, a lot of older men tell young guys about jail and the streeets yet young guys still do it.. then change the reality afterwards

This "risk management" that Tony mentioned is very overlooked in relationships by men and women. It's one thing to intend to be faithful but it really takes maturity to actively keep yourself out of situations/events that can make your fidelity difficult to maintain 😕. Married folks should not hang around members of the opposite sex alone....no texting...social media or dm's. No going to clubs/bars without your partner or drinking so much that you could put yourself in a compromising position. People who truly want to stay faithful will be proactive in eliminating as much temptation as possible.

I broke up with my ex-boyfriend 6 months ago. When we first started dating I thought that he had many redeeming qualities such as being disciplined and driven. He however lacked a strong spiritual foundation. In the early stages of our relationship God began working in me and transforming my heart, however he adamantly refused to open his mind and heart to message of Christ. He said that he believes in God, that’s it. Long story short, we broke up. He would never really get drunk on purpose and hardly ever went to the club. He was an okay young black man, living a relatively simple lifestyle. Sometimes I wonder if I gave up too soon, or was too unforgiving with my standards. Other times, I think That I absolutely made the right decision. While his values and morals were not deplorable, they still did not line up with what God was revealing to me through his word. Tony, after seeing this video I think it’s important that you speak on issues like what I just described and clarify the importance of being equally Yolked in a relationship, even if the person you’re in a relationship with seems to be wholesome. Grappling with ending my past relationship was one of the most difficult things I’ve ever had to do.
