P0546 fix on Mercedes c class e class cls , glc with OM651 engine.
We see plenty of vehicles in our workshop where people have replaced the wrong sensor, hopefully this video will help how to test the sensor and the correct location.

great , informative video , I wonder if you come across this strange problem engine 651 2.1 L (P02A7=cylinder4 fuel trim at min ) from the code you would think injector problem but sadly that was not the case , I swapped inj4 with inj1 and still the same problem P02A7 , went toward vacuum and checked all vacuum parts (intake manifold /vacuum resonator/turbo actuator/transducers/vacuum hoses) with no sign of vacuum leaks at all , in fact the system holding 15inch vacuum with no problem at a all , in regards to injectors tested with injector leak test all four injectors are leaking the same amount of fuel so I can't fault them , engine idling is fine / drive fine the only thing is if you cleared that code , you will get the full power of the engine I mean the turbo will be working as it should be until you drive in steady speed like 65miles/hour for 10 to 15 minutes as soon as you take your foot off gas pedal the check light will be trigrad and you will start loosing power specially up hill , the only suspect left for me is o2 sensor , I haven't replaced it yet , but when I disconnected no check engine light show up as if its connected , but am thinking that could be the o2 sensor is faulty thats why when the engine on that steady speed and by the time I let off the gas pedal , the ECU request the oxygen from the o2 sensor and most likely the wrong values from the o2 sensor is the suspect what do you think ? your help is appreciated

Hi, unfortunately that's not a fault we have come across. Initially i would have been checking cylinder 4 injector but as you have swapped this for cylinder 1 it seems strange that the fault still shows on no4. Did you code the injectors when you swapped them? I've not known an O2 sensor to bring the vehicle into limp mode and with it disconnected you should experience the fault straight away if this was the case. It almost sounds like you have a leak on the intake side. These can suffer with the bottom bolts in the intake manifold snapping or coming loose. Can you smoke test the intake system for leaks or pressurise the system? Hope this helps, please keep us updated on your findings.

what were the symptoms what was the problem before the sensor was replaced? I have a cooling fan running all the time, the motor is unstable, and the temperature on the instrument panel does not rise at all, motor OM651

Great video, thanks a lot! I need to replace B19/9 sensor and it was very helpful to know exactly where it is. I have an old c207 (E250) and the exhaust system/quantity of sensors are identical to this video. Is the plug/socket for my B19/9 sensor also accessible from the bottom or will I also need to take the air filter housing off like you have done?

@@godfreysautomotiveservices thank you for replying I have the code p0101 for air intake, code p0299 for the turbo, and code B210A00 for changing gears, knowing that when I delete errors, the chuck bulb goes out and torque returns, then after a while it enters the protection system and the codes return, knowing that the car has removed the Adblo system.. and I noticed Also in the live reading, there is a problem with the exhaust gas recirculation rate that gives me -7 instead of 35%. There is also a false reading in the FAP system, such as the diesel particulate content of 25 grams instead of less than 14 grams ... and the filling rate of the diesel particulate filter 400% instead of 200% at most...thank you my friend
