i have a code c1259 and c1310 and i checked the hv battery module (attached to the hv battery)but it looks clean and i checked all the cells all of them are on normal levels (7.9)the only thing i suspect there are corrosions on terminals like the one you have here so do you think could be something else other than corrosion?

These two codes related to communication error between hybrid and ABS i think you need to check something else skid control unit or hybrid control unit located on the driver side in vehicle

@@CarFaults it seems like after cleaning all these little copper plates and reinstalling, all the codes are gone It has been 100 miles since then and so far no code and the car runs even better. thanks

Hey bro, very well explained. I got toyota Sai, comming up with code P0a80, c1259 and c1310. Are the last two codes showing up because of P0A80? Hows the vehicle driving after repair, any comeback on battery so far? Thank you

You also need to check if any battery module is bad with multimeter 80% percent battery fixed after this service if problem still there then replace battery pack there is also aftermarket battery pack available in some countries even better the oem pack works perfect. Don’t forget to reset module in hybrid system via scan tool

Could you answer this question please if you have experienced that? I replaced the batteries on two RX450H. After 2 years and 15,000 miles on each the permanent code wont go away and I do not get any code on the panel and the car works normal. It's just that the permanent Code P0A80 (Replace Battery Pack) wont go away. Thanks!

Do you replace few batteries or complete pack? Also did you performed calibration with scan tool ? I recommend use toyota TIS software and check if there is new firmware for hybrid control unit

@@CarFaults I replaced a few cells on one of the cars and it works fine. No code on the panel. But still shows the permanent code. BUT for the second car I just disconnected the battery and I got a P0A80 and then I reconnected the battery and the code on the panel went away but I still see the permanent code. I mean nothing changed on the second car. Why am I getting permanent P0A80? Also I do use techstream. What version do you use? Thanks!

My techstream is a few years old but I do not see how a new version can change anything. All the cells show around 19.5 volt in live view.

@@paulcamalin5236 if you have crack TIS then you can just check for new version then you need to pay for 24 hours subscription fee to update car system. You did hybrid control unit reset and calibration from TIS??

I clean it i add some electrical coumpound but no help one module died again despite having replaced 2 modules before on my prius2 year 2006 with 370.000km

Test them and keep changing faulty modules and also do hybrid battery calibration with diagnostic tool
