@@colin7761 no tcm codes, just one from the PCM for a cylinder 5 misfire (bad plug is my guess) car had been sitting around for about 4 years so. Changed the out the fuel pump and battery so I could get it to turn on. Power steering pump also had gone out so I changed that out too. A new MAP sensor as well. Planning to see in the future if a transmission fluid change would help. Fluid looks clean and at proper level but smells a bit off.

Right on bro! What scanner are you using? Is it capable of reading tcm codes. If you are able to get live data, does the wheel speed sensors give a proper readout while they are spinning? Also I would def address the p0305 next. Try swapping the coil pack out with another cylinder. If the misfire changes then it’s the coil pack. If no change, then pull the plugs next to see what they look like 💯💯 After the p0305 is fixed then you should focus on the other issues. Anyway bro, good luck with that and if you need any advice you know where to go!! If your transmission fluid is old and dark, it would probably be a good idea to replace soon too 💯💯🤝

Thanks for the comment bro, appreciate it. The vehicle uses the wheel speed from all of the wheels in order to calculate the vehicle speed for the speedometer. So, sometimes you can lose the vehicle speed, especially if you don’t have readings from both rear wheels. The transmission uses the rear wheel speed sensors in order to calculate the transmission output shaft speed. So if they don’t have a signal then the transmission will not be able to detect output speed, and it will not be able to shift. If your tone rings are bad. They can be replaced, by removing the old one, and pressing a new tone ring on the old axle. Some other people just replace the rear cv axles and it will come with a new tone ring as part of the new axle assembly. Good luck with your vehicle bro!! 🤝💯

If you’re able to, scan your car for all the codes, and let me know what it says. The specific codes you have will help point us in the right direction and then we can go from there. If you have no scanner turn the key on and off 3 times and it will run through some codes on the dash. 💯🤝

When I had the speed sensor issue I could clear the codes and it would shift right away but right now it wont shift no matter what

How’s the connector on the trans? Do you know where the TCM connector is as well?

@@colin7761where is the TCM connector? We replaced the conductor plate. Still get the p0717 and P0717pd. But not every time we drive it. Checked the wires and connection at the conductor plate. Everything appears to be in good shape/condition.
