Heres the thing, p3p was a gimped version of p3 due to hardware limitations. It was a lot easier to basically write a whole new script because they didn't actually have to change much besides the portraits at the bare minimum. Its a lot harder to essentially make an entire second game when you have to also have to add kotone cutscenes and a separate kotone action for every interaction makoto can do. Not mention separate music and voice lines would need to be added.

FeMC feelks like a curse now rather than a nice addition. Reload is gonna be forever haunted by her shadow and many are gonna miss on this game just for this. You can criticise atlus for its scummy business decisions or the game itself and its flaws, but rioting for a female protag? I feel like people do not want FeMC, they just want to play as a woman which its totally respectable in itself. However, not playing or bashing reload for such stupid reason is honestly baffling. Besides, Aigis >>>>> FeMC, prolly my favourite persona protagonist.

Look, I got my P3 start on the portable port AND with the FEMC route so I’m bummed she’s not coming back, but I’m not surprised either. Reload is still awesome, the new things they’ve added rule, especially the feature to actually hang out with SEES is mostly lifted straight from Kotone’s social links (at least with the guys), so her influence is there. But bro holy shit the Answer is coming less goooooooooooooo.

They said they wanted to expand the games longevity like Lost Judgement by releasing DLC like this and they need more time to work on it lol

Not a FeMC fan since I never played portable but oh man I fully expect the next phase of this to be them straight up asking Atlus for an enhanced version P3R. I believe Midori that she isn’t coming as DLC. That makes sense. But I don’t believe Atlus wouldn’t resell the game again cause they can’t seem to help themselves and usually you don’t have a vocal group of fans asking for the content a piece of content to be added. Like you can’t tell me they wouldn’t. They literally are doing it now with SMT V which would’ve sold well since only switch had it so the only double dippers they are enticing are the switch player base.

I absolutely ADORED Persona 3 Reload even though Kotone Shiomi wasn’t in it and she is my favorite protagonist to play as but hating on the best game of 2024 for that reason is kind of petty like just play the original if you’re that pressed about it maybe??? 🤔

I’m sure Reload is great and that it doesn’t need to add FeMC in order to be a quote-unquote “complete” version of Persona 3, but it also kinda sucks that you have to shell out 25 dollars, play a more dated version of the game, and lose the animated cutscenes in order to play as her. Why does there have to be a Woman Tax? …probably because Atlus knows that people like me are going to pay it

I still can't believe that the metacrit rating for persona 3 reload is not correct because of haters from both journalists and fans, they look like primates saying "p3p good, has woman, p3r bad, no woman" some idiots gave it a 0 rating for the game just because they don't like the new singer, what irritated me the most was a journalist who gave the game a 6 and basically said "The game is great, but I don't like Atlus so I'm going to give it a 6.", This doesn't even make sense, rating sites are for ranking the game, not the company. I want to know if the game is good, not if you like the company or not.

Ok so I have a question I have Persona 3 portable on my switch and I have a xbox but can't play right now due to having no space in the house I'm currently in with my family we are planning on moving this year so I'm wondering should I play persona 3 portable or wait till I get my xbox back when there's room and play reload and soon the answer dlc on gamepass thanks

I do feel sympathy for Kotone fans because we get all this new and shiny stuff and quality of life things that Makoto fans get but they don't

Is basically the same story and events of the Answer but with the P3Reload quality of life and mechanics. Since P3Reload isn't FF7R, is a faithful remake, better than BDSP 🤭😏.

Bro I would feel bad about the Kotone fans but considering how people are bashing on this masterpiece just because she is not in it...specially considering all the time constraints P3 Reload had because it clearly was meant to release much earlier but they wanted to do it right and they were about to scrap The Answer...like come on man, They worked hard, the game is super polished and they clearly did their absolute best, you can even look outside the window in the school and see actual things happening for fuck's sake, come on man, people really should chill with that FeMC thing when we are only dividing each other and we are forgettin why we originally even played Portable at all, Makoto the GOAT and his amazing ending

Yeah man the whole situation is crazy. I myself finished the game on March 5th and then the very next day, The Answer was announced. As for the FeMC discourse, I feel like I’m starting to resent her because her fans are literally refusing to do anything with Reload just because she’s absent. It’s not like I do dislike her because I really enjoyed everything about her route, but to go so far as refusing to play Reload because of her absence is kinda crazy to me.
