I don't think Chidori is alive, I think Atlus left it ambiguous on purpose, because reviving people goes against P3's themes of accepting death, but people still want Junpei to be happy.

Another thing is that Q1's P3 side is a retelling by Elizabeth, meaning that Minato remembers what happened in it, meaning that Q2 takes place before q1's P3 side, technically

Makoto didn't actually end up losing his memories of Persona Q despite the rest of the P3 cast have theirs wiped, pretty sure the P3 side opens with him asking Elizabeth about it and her recounting the events of the crossover

Apparently, in P3D, July 13th is the date marked on both Yukari’s calendar in her room and Akihiko’s clock in his room. Except, this is impossible if it takes place during the P3 story, since Koromaru hasn’t even joined yet by that point, so either July 13th was a random date with no actual relevance to the timeline placement, or this is the July 13th set months after P3 protag has already died (and somehow he’s able to join the dancing despite being the Great Seal).

Also since the animations count as the canon version of the stories (by using the canon name of the protagonists in future spin offs) I guess you can count the manga adaptation of P1 as the canonical story in the timeline since it covers both routes at the same time with Yukino and Ayase doing the snow queen route while the others work in the main route joining them later on the story to finish the snow queen route and go back to the main stuff. I said it kinda can be considerer canon since not only the characters get better developed (as it is shown in P2) but also because it’s the only media that shows the cast doing both routes at the same time.

Here is one thing that Margret says in Persona 4 Golden which you probably should've addressed in this is she mentions that there are lots of realities where in each one, Yu would through a different pathway, each of them making their own choices and mistakes. This is true and you could say that each player creates a new altered reality based on their playthrough of the game and their choices where a player chooses to go down the harem route, one decides to choose only one person to date either one or another, one decides to not date anyone, this even depends on the Social Links/Confidants they either managed to max out or not. It's not just in P4, the other two Persona games also come with pathways and choices that the player can go with if they want. Also, another thing I want to point out is the quest Elizabeth is on in Persona 4 Arena, in the English version, she refers to the P3 protag as a 'he', right? But in the Japanese version, the P3 protag is instead referred to as 'they'. So, the Japanese version actually makes it clear that Elizabeth is on a mission to save both the male and female protags of P3, which the latter is something Theodore would've done as well, but didn't, so, his sister took his place on this. This would make Persona 3 Portable: Velvet Blue more canon and more sense in this case. Just thought I point this out because I've seen some people were confused by this, and also that this and this whole video defiantly debunks this stupid timeline theory some fans thought of which in my opinion, it's just a dumb explanation to why we never got a female protag for P4 and P5. But there's still the case of not having a version of The Answer with FeMC instead, since the epilogue chapter itself was cut from Portable, but I'm hoping with that if they were to remake Persona 3 and bring in The Answer, which they'll most likely do as DLC, they'll use it to fully explain the questions about FeMC's timeline that ended up being left unanswered.

The timeline in a nutshell: A time traveler from far away in the future, possibly one thousand years or so, goes back in time to the early 20th century Japan to try and prevent his future from occurring. The local introverted devil summoner beats him up and prevents him from drastically altering the world. Or so we think. Then some time later a lanky blond dude decides to discuss individuality and sparks with the same introverted devil summoner, saying that he may end up being the very thing that changes something. Skip many years ahead and some horribly treated high school student tries to summon demons into his school as revenge, but the summoning goes wrong and he and the rest of the school gets sucked into the Expanse. In one way or another a student named Tamaki brings the school back to the human world and meets some wheelchair dude in a red suit. And then Devil Summoner 1 and Persona 1 happen. Edit: Made this comment before watching the whole way through. Oh well.

I want to know where it’s officially stated that trinity souls is not canon. If it is canon, then it would take place around 2019-2020 since it takes place 10 years after P3 (I get why some say it isn’t canon, in the show, Akihiko says that it’s harder for adults to keep personas which is why he couldn’t use his). How Persona x Detective Naoto got removed from canonicity by Ultimax is due to the novel itself taking place a year after Persona 4 and Sousei's Persona being the Persona of someone else completely in Ultimax. In case you don't know, Sousei is a character in Detective Naoto who is an Anti-Shadow Weapon like Aigis and Labrys, but unlike them, he's male, which I find interesting because all the Anti-Shadow Weapons we've seen so far in the Persona series are all female, so, it's interesting to see that there was a male Anti-Shadow Weapon. Too bad it was removed from canonicity and that the novel itself was pretty unpopular.

something people might be curious about: the hermit social link in persona 3 treats the events of innocent sin like an mmo. this was not the case in the original japanese script however. instead of fictionalizing maya and tatsuya's adventures, it was originally an mmo based off of kyuuyaku megami tensei/digital devil story/megami tensei (without the "shin" part). i presume this change was made because the west has no way to experience that, but does imply nakajima's adventure was fictional. which is weird because smt 1 hero's dog (pascal) is implied at one point to have been a gift from some version of nakajima, and if i understand implications stated in smt if..., the smt 1 hero was still running around that universe with a demon summoning program at that time, presumably with pascal as pascal canonically becomes his cerberus. it creates a weird implication within implications that at some point before 2009 someone in-universe created a fictional story about a "real" person that kind of happened but didn't really, but megami tensei 1 was turned into a video game within megami tensei 2 anyway so its not even the first time that happened.

Hey Snake. In both of the Persona 2 games there are several characters that come back from Persona 1 (some crucial to the plot like Yuki and others who are just cameos). After P2 this basically died aside from the series of irrelevant callbacks to the previous games and characters. Do you think this is a good thing, or would you prefer to see characters from previous mainline games appear in future mainline titles and if so how important should their involvements be?

Actually I think one of the other SMT games mentions Featherman which started in Persona.

The only other omissions I could think of are Catherine: Classic and Catherine: Full Body, as their protagonist Vincent appears in Persona 3 Portable, there’s a Phantom Thieves expansion for Catherine: Full Body which sees the group (minus Akechi) kidnapped and cheering on Joker, concluding with Golden Playhouse host Trisha addressing them in LeBlanc and it could be Sojiro giving the alcohol trivia in Catherine similar to his coffee trivia in Persona 5.

In tatsuya's scenario you can find a document about developing artificial personas probably written by Kandori. Is Kandori related to strega or kirijo group? Even if is only in the PSP remake it shows that kandori and nyarlathotep influences even reach to persona 3 and 4.

Well with the introduction of the DLC of P5R, we now have a perfectly canon way for the P3 Protag to show up. The "Cognitive Echos" are those DLC Bonuses Bosses against the P3 and P4 Protags. You can essentially use those as characters as stand ins for the P3 Protag and the Young Version of Yu. So then you can use Older Yu with a potentially different moveset and use his young cognitive echo as his original moveset!

I think Atlus will make a second version of strikers because they always do that with mainline games and Strikers is one of them

The frequency you refer to synopsis and how you "can't be bothered" on so many things made me wonder why you did bother to make the video. It probably would have been better in presentation not to mention most the things you weren't going to put effort into and let the people who do know call you ignorant. That's a better alternative than this imo, which just feels like you did it half hearted and lazy on purpose which was ultimately unsatisfying to me and why I clicked on the video.
