Preston and Jackie have a beautiful story about how God took them from friendship to engagement and now they're on the road to the covenant relationship of marriage. Many of you wanted to see the behind the scenes story of them and their journey and this is the first episode where we learn about how they met and then how they allowed God to grow their love for one another.
Also, while they travel the world doing ministry through spoken word, they're the definition of starving artists and would like your help as they plan for the big day. Absolutely beautiful... and I completely agree with Jackie's thought on how it wasn't her place to tell Preston that she liked him romantically and that if God was leading Preston to pursue her He would do it without her help. That spoke to me. Yours is a beautiful testimony :) Praying God's blessing upon your union.

@@zerandrianmorris Not so my husband was the first man I have never tried to pursue, but yet he was pursuing me for a while and I didn't even know he liked me like that especially since we were only friends at the time. I use to be the one going after the ones that I liked but yet I have never experienced a man actually trying to pursue me to get to know me on a much seriously level they only came after my body. It was not until I met my now husband that I can finally say that I now understand what the LORD ment when he said, "When a man finds a wife he finds a good thing." There are alot of people out here teaching and preaching telling woman and men especially woman to go out there and date to find love when all we have to do is be patient and wait and while we are waiting spend time in the WORD of GOD and he will direct our path and bless us with someone who is our equal. Trust me you do not have to go out there looking and searching for someone just be patient and wait on the LORD through fastings and praying not just for a man but to mainly get closer to the LORD to get to know him on a personal level and the LORD will draw the right man or woman to you according to his will because the LORD already knows what we need just seek the kingdom of GOD and his righteousness first and all these things will be add unto us. Is not waiting on the LORD is how we become unequally yoked with the wrong person in the first place which brings nothing but more heart ace's and pain and that's not peace. Wait on the LORD because GOD has called us to peace and going about this our own way does not bring peace of mind to us, our children or our future children because what we go through are children will go through it as well. I know this is not something that we want to hear since we want everything to happen when we want it to happen but the most wise thing we can do to keep ourselves out of trouble is waiting on the LORD and trusting that he is an on time GOD who's way is always right and understanding that ours is not and that's when faith comes in, faith is also believing that GODs way is right and clean and our way is not and that his timing for everything to take place in our life is right and our is not and if we do not believe this than we do not know the LORD like we think we do because if we did we wouldn't be out here dating, searching and looking for a man or woman we would faithfully wait on the LORD to speak back to us to give us WORD on what it is that we want to know through fastings and praying. May GOD BLESS US ALL according to the TRUTH.

I love their story!! I like how God confirmed to Preston about telling Jackie how he felt about her. I love that Jackie prayed about her feelings about Preston. It's always good to start off as friends before a relationship. ;-)

GOD CAN DO IT! This is how my husband and I came together. I never wanted to be married especially after I got saved. Just wanted to give all my time to God. He prepared us, changed my heart, and spoke to both of us. We have a mission given to us by GOD. That will keep us together! Our marriage, their marriage is bigger than us! Try it God's way. This is so REAL!!! I feel so much closer to these people just because they were brave enough to share their story and even financial situation with the world like this. Man, I've only known you 24 hours and I have the Art of Joy album and can't stop listening to you!!! I am so truly blessed by you people. Come to Jamaica please!!! Jackie, I heard that reference in "The Argument" lol. Big up yuh self! Dat mi a tell yuh! I am so in love with this movement and this story that is such a powerful and relevant testimony in the face of the current battles we fight in the Spirit. Jackie, the way you look at Preston... Is the realist thing in the world. I have such a lifestyle that people don't know the full story.. I let it all out when my husband and I were courting. Basically getting to know each other. A week long "air out" turned into him still wanting ME! He still wanted to be with ME! My husband is the realist thing I know/have experienced like God's love. I look at my husband like this still. Not as much as I use to, I need to get back to that. But that look is everything.
