Yes, unfortunately somehow, probably due to it being found in old dictionaries copied onto some websites, the term “barrel organ” has persisted as a catch-all for all outdoor mechanical organs, even though it only truly properly refers to those organs (indoor and outdoor) which play from a pinned cylinder. The correct terms are street organ, band/fairground organ, or dance organ, depending upon the type of use and tonal scheme of the instrument. Some indoor cylinder instruments are known as “flute clocks”; chamber” barrel organs, “salon” barrel organs, or “orchestrions” depending upon their disposition and construction.

Different arrangers use different software. I don’t know what he is using in the video, but at least two programs are available especially for arranging music for automatic organs. One was developed by Melvyn Wright in around 1988(!) and is available from him on his website here. It's made by Odin organs in France, but I don't know the model name or number. It has 42 notes, is fully chromatic, and obviously is a cardboard book street organ with what look and sound like all flute-type pipes (no strings, and no reeds). There are both stopped and open flutes, ans also a small rank of brass piccolos (flauto traverso) in the lower center.

I am pretty sure these arrangements are from scratch and not adapted from other people's MIDIs. The latter usually gets poor results anyway IMO.
