Had a chance to visit Sierra City this past summer. After having watched so many hikers stop there, I thought it was time to see it myself. It's only about an hour and a half from our cabin near Truckee. Did not disappoint. Nice to cross paths with so many helpful people....always been my experience as well.

Those water crossings were amazing❤️

Runners can have more heart disease because they eat more cholesterol. To improve your athletic performance and health, you might want to take a look this video, “Why All Athletes Should Eat Plant-Based Diets” (by Dr. Michael Greger) on KZfaq (it's only about 6 minutes). It mentions the movie, The Game Changers, that includes Scott Jurek who won the Western States Endurance Run seven consecutive times (1999-2005), and set a record on the Appalachian Trail.
