Oregon is on fire! The Pacific Crest Trail is on Fire! Smoke is everywhere ahhhhhh!
Wildfires are no joke so please practice Leave No Trace principles when it comes to your fires! Observe burn bans, drown and stir your campfires until they are completely out, do not incorporate explosives into your gender reveal parties, and in general take care of our wonderful beautiful world.
Anyway. These were actually started by lightening haha.
In this video I backpack the remainder of Oregon! I leave Shelter Cove and enter Diamond Peak wilderness. I see the Cedar Creek fire. I hike my highest mileage day of 35 miles. I see lots of bears! And I see the lovely stunning Crater Lake! Crater Lake Oregon is the best y’all! Come thru hike with me! Thru-hiking is life changing!

What I love about you is how much you care about biology and the animal world! You will help frogs, hornets, and I love how you paused to watch the hornet give itself a bath. I follow multiple hikers such as Blazin Bakers, Jupiter, IBTAT and you because you all bring something special and unique to the hike. You are the best details of the trail hiker. Your footage of flowers, plants and lifeforms is second to none. You aren't full of yourself and don't need to be the fastest it makes me sad how much time you are alone because of that, I am surprised there was nobody close to your pace who could be your tramily. At times I wish I could go through the screen and give you a hug or take your mind off your pain. You sometimes cry or want to quit and I relate to your pain and overcoming your pain is how you become a stronger person. I KNOW you are much stronger now than when you started Twiggy! Looks like your channel blew up in subs and views last video and it makes me feel great, I have been here since first video and always like the video, you deserved too be a success.

Glued in a wheelchair, I'm so digging the PCT hike by so many brave souls. I would've freaked to see bears that close all by myself. Frogs are kind of a candy snack to so many critters up the food chain, that's why there are so many of them. I liked how you tried stepping around all of them, that was so funny. The birds that kind of dive bombed you at that one point, kind of looked like homing pigeons racing to get home. you must have a little animal whisperer in you, looking at how the deer reacted to you. Thank you for your wonderful video perspective of the PCT, I totally enjoy it!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The orange was amazing, have never seen that. Hope I get to see these places someday so I can say the camera just doesn't do it justice! And I don't think you've got "the quit" in you, but if you did I sure wouldn't be throwing any judgment around. Be the thing, do the thing, finish the thing! You're kinda Awesome like that.....

After watching several PCT through hike video’s and series, I like your version the best. You’re a realist. I have the same problems with anxiety and could totally relate to your introverted-ness. Thank you for actually showing that aspect of your hike and for talking about your mental struggles.

12:57 Nice shot of the deer! Those HUGE radar like ears. It's really cool when they are looking away from you but the ears are pointing towards you. So sorry you had to deal with the smoke in Oregon, not a great year but there have actually been worse years.

Used to be a bush fire fighter when Oz was burning down. Half the time, when they say lightning strikes, its code for theres a pyro on the loose. Even the bears knew to get out by the looks of things.

Hey, I can totally relate. It's cool during the day, but dusk to dawn the loneliness and fear of big animals can be overwhelming. I remember quitting a trip through Mokelumne Wilderness years ago because I felt so alone at night. Gah. You're clearly much stronger than me, so hang in there. I super LOVE the animals in your videos, and yup, I save drowning insects too! Thanks for posting!

Absolutely stunning natural surroundings. I can even believe how beautiful this is and how adventurous to feel. So much of this video reminded me that I should have been doing more hiking and adventures as I moved to big capital and forgot my connection with nature. Thank you so much for bringing me back to this. Sending much love :)

Incredible, incredible. That you were able to walk so many miles each day 😲. And still you were able to observe and film all those beautiful animals! You are so brave to complete all the regions. I understand how scary it must be sometimes to be there all by yourself. I think you must be very proud of yourself (and also very tired some days). Thank you very much for all your beautiful work!
