6:09 That guy's driving drunk?! I'd get out immediately. You don't want to die in a car accident while hiking the PCT. That behaviour is an insult to Trail Angels and people who don't break the law. He's basically pointing a loaded gun to your head.

It felt like you were not going to gain much by finishing in the smoke. It's expensive to go back to do that but it's a good little holiday to look forward to. When you've experienced all that way across so many environments you've walked it. Arbitrary man made borders are milestones true but how many people get to experience that journey? The end part is very pretty despite the smoke. I think it's better to be confident finishing than pushing hard and finishing but not enjoying the end.

Twiggy - every few years I like to check in on the PCT hiker videos and found yours to be exceptionally engaging. My wife and I watched them and when she says she'd like to hike part of WA with me, I smile. I hiked the PCT in 1980 from Stevens to Mx - solo southbound 18 yr old. (St Helens had just erupted and closed 270 miles of WA) I too experienced all the emotions from despair to triumphs as you. To this day I remember a lot of the areas you show in your vids and recall many of the stories I experienced. I'm 62 today (B-day), need a knee replacement, contemplating retirement, but still trying to live life to full adventure. My best day on the PCT was 25 miles. My boots weighed 5 lbs. My pack base weight was 60 lbs (no food). My heaviest load was leaving Lake Tahoe for Tuolumne Mdws at 120 lbs. (10 days food). In fact, I had a few loads like that. Never worried about camping alone as that was the norm - but I can sense it was a big challenge you dealt with and overcame. Congrats on completing the trail !!! After I was done, I picked up a Geology degree and promptly - flew Hawkeyes in the Navy. 200+ carrier landings for me. Raised a family (all grown now) and enjoy flying still (here in Spokane) love to fly powered gliders over rugged country. I've fairly recently posted a video of an area you may recognize. Good luck to and your future and ..... welcome to the PCT club. The few .... the stubborn. Methow valley was the connecting trail I used to finish, so beautiful from above! Your videos are amazing! Seems like such a perfect way to view Washington. I said while hiking it that I wanted to move to Washington but I’ve been putting down roots here in Florida. Hopefully I can visit soon though! Take care!!

This year, I started following about 6-7 hikers....you were one of the last of 4 that finish, but definitely the most rewarding. To watch you grow through all the trials, of the trail; watch amazing to experience with you. I'm sure that when you rewatch all of it, you'll see a tremendous amount of personal growth, happen. Thank you for allowing us to watch that. Thank you to your support team, as well. This was very inspiring. I started to walk/hike to get in shape for my health, age 58, and plan on possible taking on some multiday hikes, while training for bigger ones. We all learned a lot from you, as well as getting inspired. Thanks again. I have no doubt that you will accomplish anything that you set your mind to. Best wishes.

You should move to Washington, one of the best states for outdoors. I know almost every PCT trail road crossing. Because my off-road trails cross the PCT at various points. it’s fascinating talking to these hikers that started 3-4 months earlier and come from other countries to do this trail Oh and September -October is when the bees in Washington come out to look for food for their hibernation. They get super aggressive.

Hello Twiggy! It’s been a number of months now since you completed your dream adventure… I’m writing today to check on you to see how you’ve been doing, and to see whether your transition back to the “real world” has been completed… It’s always a tough task to jump back into a world of schedules and clocks after spending so much quality time with Mother Nature. You set the standard for all other KZfaqrs when it comes to sharing your thoughts, as well as video of the beautiful scenery you encountered. I often find myself binging many of the episodes, even though I’ve seen them many times before… Be PROUD of yourself and everything that you accomplished! The mental strength it took to journey on even when your thoughts turned against you shows what type of young woman you are. A role model for all hikers that are contemplating taking to the trail !! My best wishes go out to you. It is very selfish of me, but it is my hopes that you’re in the midst of planning another hiking adventure. That way, I can live vicariously through YOU!! Enjoy the peace and tranquility of Nature… wherever you can find it. YOU are a true inspiration… Take care. Best wishes Keep smiling

Twiggy, this was the first video of yours that I happened upon and now after watching the rest of your PCT videos, I'm back here again full circle. What an incredible accomplishment. I'm hoping that you'll continue to share some of your adventures with us, but even if you don't, thanks so much for taking us along on this epic journey. I'm blown away by your commitment and tenacity. I watch quite a few other thru-hiker channels now, and I know it's not a competition, but I have to say, none have impressed me more than you. Your kindness and your courage to press on through your struggles are what I appreciate. As a minor sidenote, I see you wore your North Face Horizon hat for 2650 miles, so if anyone can give a good impression of it, you can. Were you happy with the choice? I was looking at that or the Tilly, but I've heard the Tilly is really not very breathable and makes your head hot. Thanks in advance.

Thanks again for the kind words Jedi 🙌🌸

Courage is not being unafraid, unchallenged, and constantly cheerful. To accomplish the things you did; the huge mile days, the extremes of weather and terrain, and the social challenges (I can't even imagine hitchhiking as an introvert), sharing your emotional highs and lows with the public...these are the signs of courage. I started watching "The Field Trip" family, a mom and her four young boys, who hiked the PCT in 2022 too. They finished the PCT in 105 days, and the mom did an amazing job of filming the trail. With their videos almost being finished I looked at other PCT hikers videos, and found yours to be another well filmed and interesting adventure. I only got started closer to the end of each one of your PCT hikes, so I plan on going back and watch from the beginning to the end videos of yours as well. I always wanted to hike the Appalachian Trail, yet work and health never allowed it sadly. I only heard about the PCT this year and find it to be totally amazing with much better scenery than the AT. I must add that you may feel fearless out in the wilderness with all the possibilities of an encounter with a wild animal while hiking at night all alone. I would have been scared to death, like I believe so many others would be too. Don't beat yourself up about personal fears, you totally impressed me by what you have completed all alone. In my book you are a very brave young lady, that I have all the respect for in this world. You are a big hero to me, and I love you for that!!!!!!! Thank you for your amazing PCT videos. Frogs are kind of a candy snack to so many critters up the food chain, that's why there are so many of them. I liked how you tried stepping around all of them, that was so funny. The birds that kind of dive bombed you at that one point, kind of looked like homing pigeons racing to get home. you must have a little animal whisperer in you, looking at how the deer reacted to you.
