Pacific Pinball Museum Surplus Sale Preview Walkthrough

I got to do a small walkthrough of the games the Pacific Pinball Museum (aka. PPM) is selling to help raise funds. The sale will take place on Sunday, June 2nd. The Pacific Pinball Museum is a non-profit museum located in Alameda, California. I would be as bold as to claim it as the most educational pinball museum you could visit. They have above each of their games information cards that share some history or facts about the game. I love their museum, and have a membership! Highly recommend to visit if you are ever in the Bay Area.
This is not footage from their Museum, but their warehouse where they store all their extra games.
Information from PPM:
Our first PPM Annex Warehouse sale since 2019 is coming up soon pinfans! The doors to the legendary Pacific Pinball Annex warehouse located on the former Alameda Naval Air Station will swing wide for our fundraising sale. The silent auction format sale will feature all sorts of machines - Pinball Games, EM Arcade Games, Coke Machines, game back-glasses, Scopitones, project games, and other memorabilia - just in time for Father's Day shopping!
Important Information: The Silent Auction format will sell items to the highest listed bidder by 12pm if its reserve has been met and if the "Buy It Now" price has not been exercised. There will also be other items for direct listed price sale, and we will be accepting both cash and credit cards for payment (Sorry, no checks) Items for sale will be clearly marked and arranged and volunteers will be available to answer questions and assist. All purchases must be removed from the Annex Warehouse by 1pm after the auction's 12pm close.
SALE LOCATION: 1680 Viking Street, Bldg 169 in Alameda, CA 94501 (Look for our truck and enter through the rolltop door!)

Wow! I remember seeing that along with Shark Hunt at the now closed Museum of Pinball a few years back and playing both. Such an artistic cab.

I just sold Cow Poke from 1965, Granada and Lucky Ace from mid 70’s, and Neptune and Ship Ahoy from maybe ‘81. I grew up with those in my house and I do have seller’s remorse. Wonder what I (should have) gotten for them!?

This is disappointing. In the age of online marketplace and expos it would be much better to go to an expo and haggle for games there or search for certain games via online marketplaces that I want. This might be in it for someone who wants to get a handful of wood rail games without caring about certain games but a set reserve on everything prevents that, they might still be able to do a batch deal afterwards. And I don't see how selling these low-costed wood-rail games for a total of roughly $20K (minus computer space which is highly priced) is furthering museum funds. I'm just not seeing the end goal here.

It is hard for the museum to move all these items to a show. The manpower needed to take all these games somewhere is a big effort. They are a non-profit and funds like this I'm sure help for those rainy days when things are slow for their business. I want to see the museum live on and continue to share the love of pinball with everyone. :) This sale might not be for everyone and that is ok. I do know they have some of these games listed online already. However, I'm sure after the sale they can look to list more for whatever didn't sell.

@@erikaspinballjourney Its hard for people to get a sense of just how big this space is. There are hundreds of games. Not all for sale, but its a massive collection.
