Another SWEET WORKING one at that! The RD that I herded that ended up being a tractor was solid black and SHARP! And the 350 Dog motor was RIGHT as welll as the 12 speed. I was always hunting the fast truck because I do believe I could out pull him but never could quite get there. Toots and myself had on the same colors like the pair did beside that rig. Everybody said we were the Bobbseys. HAPPY rest of the week and evening, Buddy!

@@espeescotty I did that ONCE! We were hauling on a road job following the river for a ways and it turned straight up the mountain. Standing Indian mountain if you want to look it up. Hwy. 64 west.There was a GMC with a 6-71 that everybody was bragging to death about how fast it was. The old ex-coal hauler had a 237 Gold Dog but the 6-71 was rated at 238. We ran along the river with me behind him in 5th direct which was my 35 m.p.h. gear but it was flat and I stayed after the Gemmy till it turned UP. There was a straight right after the last curve going up hill and I never got out of it, pulled out and just blew him off that little narrow road. Never saw it again till we got back and heading home. The guys asked him if he got passed. He was hot but said he couldn't even see the smoke hanging in the air. I think I had to drop one more notch. I still grin when I think about it.

I don't know the history of the KW, whether she has been a Ver Steeg truck since her working days or not, but the Ver Steeg crew rollout in transfers, so she might have been a dirt doubles hauler in her prime. 🤠👍
