Look at those kids smiles. I worked at a Samaritans purse warehouse for 4 hours. All of the shoeboxes that day went to the Philippines. These boxes are the only gift some kids will receive. Thank you Jesus. Amen.

I've started using those 2 qt. plastic boxes with a snap lid because after they take the gifts out, the box can be used to store food or other things.

Those kids smiles when they opened the simplest gifts made my heart so full. In our world kids want iPads and iPhones and all the coolest toys those kids are happy and greatfull to just have a party blower to play with.

what i love about uncle si is the fact that he cares deeply in the lord

I love doing this every year! Our youth group has actually already started taking up items to fill shoeboxes for this year! Last year alone we sent 30-40 boxes just from the youth! I really love seeing videos of the kids faces when they receive the boxes!

Oh my goodness this made me cry a little. I love Uncle Si. In response to the "convert a child" comment, they can look at the pictures if they want, read the book if they want, but ultimately it is their decision to accept Christ as their savior. The huge smiles that light up their faces makes it all worth it. To me anyway.

Toys and gifts for kids - doesn't matter the religion - all kids love toys and treats - and so many are in need of some love - I love it - Go Guys! Thanks for sharing.

I find Nike shoe boxes are the best and taking things out of the packages lets you fit a lot more.
