It happen to me I’m sooo dumb for doing it. Hopefully I get my package back. I did the package intercept the same day just two hours later but I’m still seeing it move it saying that is expecting for delivery tomorrow to his house. Not cool hopefully it comes back.😢😢😢😢

Happened the same thing to me with an iphone n got it intercepted LAST MINUTE and they comfirned its on its way i dont see nothing on the tracking number though only saying it was intercepted, does it take the same amount of time to deliver back to sender?

Brother I hope you see this. I sold a $500 computer graphics card on eBay and shipped it via USPS Priority Mail. It was supposed to be delivered today but when I checked the tracking, it says "ALERT: This item has been intercepted on December 22, 2023 at 7:42 am in OVIEDO, FL 32765 and redirected as requested by the sender." - I never requested this as the seller. I reached out to the buyer but no response. What in the world is going on, am I getting scammed?

I sent out 300 dollar shoes and intercepted it.. but it still got delivered to their address 🤦‍♂️I even called every number and they did not help at all

Just a FYI - this is a good feature for peeps who forget to change their address after a move and you have forgotten to change addresses on Ebay or the sort - if it's through USPS, and it's priority mail, it can be intercepted. On topic, It's good you were able to interdict the package before it arrived. Here's hoping you found a actual seller for it.

I got scammed I just did an intercept it got all the way to Washington. It said unable to intercept then it says intercept when I track it. Idk what to think.

Scumbags are rampant on ebay, I got screwed and ebay didn't do jack. That was 12 years ago and I still don't mess with those gutter trash thieves. Glad you got your phone back, screw the scammers.

I don't use a buy it now option on ebay. Usually don't deal with the spammers that way. Glad you got the iPhone back

Have had to do the same thing on a Gopro hero 5 camera. Call ebay...there are certain steps you can take to get seller protection to protect you in the event of fraud. I also routinely add insurance to all electronic items as a back up

That's true! This morning I was in Gmail looking at a ebay receipt for something I didn't buy. It was a guest order with no code . It did have a USPS tracking code that was untraceable.

Hello. I was wondering if you could help me. I recently sent a package and discovered it was a scam. I requested a package intercept as well. I see that the package has reached what look to be last facility and that the package is in transit to the destination. When I go to my usps account I see that it says they’re “currently searching” for my package. I was wondering if the same happened to you? I’d greatly appreciate any help as this is weighing heavily on me. Thank you in advance

That's crazy, scammers everywhere had something similar happen at Verizon ordered a new phone and accessories but never received it they ended up going to some location in Texas, it took some doing too to get it straightened out come to find out it was an employee in the shipping department redirecting packages to other locations. 12.95 to hunt down package, I had a problem USPS lost my package for 2 weeks and i refund the buyer. I hope package intercept works don't want to lose 50.20 from buyer that lives an 1 hour away from me .

Another method I use is a longer day Handling time to make sure payment clears ok. Yeh there is no protection for sellers unfortunately!

I got scammed for a case of 36 bibles, sent the bibles out the buyer refused the package and i got 5 and a half phone books back in the mail. as soon as i received the box back in the mail paypal refunded the buyer, now how did this happen? post office said the buyer never had possession of the box? the shipping label was in tact and so were the postal labels... i've been scratching me head on this one for two years...

@@jameshenchy184 No, I never did but i have had some clever repeats of this event that leads me to believe that an employee of the postal service was involved. i have learned not to insure packages or put a value on the package more than the standard $50 that is included and if its a much more expensive item i always ship it FedEx and I band the package with an off color nylon band with my name printed on it and a reference number on the underside of the band. that way if it is refused by the customer i can flip the band and if i can not find the name and number under the band I will refuse the package and file a claim with FedEx...

ya gotta be careful these days, there's not alot of protecting and serving in our world. gotta take care of yourself! I try to deal face to face as much as possible, then you have the famous"shoot em in the face" option! lol even then it's risky, last time I got shot was selling some stuff on Craigslist. lol

I would of loved to see the look on that dip shits face when the package showed up.. almost in their paws and then it was snatched away.. LMAO! EBay needs a searchable list of questionable addresses. If a seller gets scammed, they can enter the info to help other sellers not get screwed. They may be SOL on that one deal but the amassed info from other sellers might save them the next time. Bonus points for being able to send a box of dog shit or just trash to a known scammer address! :-)
