Lot of things will be cheaper to buy in the UK actually especially when you have Ikea in the place you’re at. Even Wilko for that matter have things that are cheaper than India. This is more helpful to all those tho don’t have less baggage allowance in the flight.

Please avoid carrying anything in white colour power form like sugar and salt as it may be questioned at the airport. I hope you are getting my point. We can buy salt and sugar at the airport. Rest everything in your list is amazing. This is just my personal suggestion as most of us will be going out of the country for the first time and we don't want to have a bad experience and spoil our excitement.

what about the restrictions in the type of baggage i will be carrying my stuffs in? various airlines have a stict baggage allowance in terms of baggage dimension. do they really check the combined dimesion of the checked in baggage? i am having a hard time in that.. please could you suggest what to do? i am travelling to the UK this september intake and booked my flight from Air India. but neither of the baggage dimensions are coming to a total of 273 cm combined. its always exceeding by 10-20 cm. what is your suggestion. or anyone who has travelled to the UK by Air India flights. please share your experience. i have to purchase my luggages accordingly.

Do you know if there is any restriction on where we should take pre-departure covid test..i mean labs and all ? or any labs with RT-PCR test is good enough? Also do you know whether we can transit visa dubai to uk..as they have cheaper flights? or its better to take a direct flight..thanks in advance

1) Any lab will do, make sure the report has the QR Code and it should be downloadable via link. 2) Avoid Layovers, it could be a problem if the layover country's status gets changed. Better to choose a direct flight.

Yes you can, make proper packing - you can check with International packaging shops, they can do that.

Hi sir about 6 point.. That you can take desi ghee from india.. I have watched many videos in which they are saying not to get any dairy peoduct from. India including ghee.. So is it true?

Hey bro, one of my friends carried ghee in Canada. But just confirm if it is allowed in your airlines for UK.

Dairy products are not allowed in the UK from India. Different rules apply to different countries from where flights originate. People can bring dairy from Europe but not from India and this includes ghee. If caught products will be destroyed and you will be penalised. Better buy from the UK when you come here. If you want Indian stuff delivered then order from red rickshaw. Not many people are lucky enough to have Indian super markets nearby. As you move north, you will find less Indian markets and Indian food. You can get anything from Birmingham, London, Manchester but it becomes difficult when you are in Glasgow. Example we buy mangoes imported from india and Pakistan. People in Glasgow don't get that. We enjoy same Indian street food taste at saravaa bhawan, Sri krishna wada pav in London /Birmingham but our friends in Scotland or North of England long for these things. So try using red rickshaw for food delivery. Better you order as a group as there are delivery charges. Whether one person orders or more. Delivery charges are fixed.
