If you people are booking flights without getting a visa decision then make sure you have an Insurance in place that gives you a full refund if in an unlikely event visa is delayed or denied. People try to book tickets fast thinking they'll save some money by doing so but it can prove to be an expensive affair.

Hi Ritwik, just want to know if for instance, I have missed filling up the tentative date of my visa, and I have already booked my flights. My welcome starts from 19 Sep, classes from Oct first week and flight is booked for 13 Sep. So, what do you think will there be a problem for me to fly on 13 sep as visa date can be any

The date you can arrive in the UK will be the 'valid from' date on your visa. This will usually be seven days before the 'intended date of travel' you put on your visa application but cannot be earlier than one month before your course starts. You should not attempt to enter the UK before your travel visa is valid.

I would suggest everyone to book airindia for travelling because they are offering +23 kg for student visa only along with the 1 hand bag and 2 luggage (23+23)

Hey, I came to UK in Feb on student tier 4 visa, I have to visit back India in December. I am soo confused as in the vignette in passport says valid until 6 months from feb 2022 only. I have the leave to remain in UK until 2026 (in the visa letter) but what about the vignette? Do I need to get a new vignette or what exactly?

Brother, my agent informed that you can put any date in application form its not like they will provide Visa accordingly😕 So we entered 22nd Aug my course start date is 19th Sep. I want to be there before that as I guess we can arrive before month from course date.Can we do anything about this now??? Also, I don't know about welcome week as its not mentioned on CAS so how can I get this information???

Depends on how prepared you are! Depends on if you need IELTS and you have the required score. If yes, then depends on how fast your uni issues you offer letter. If all is in place (you have funds, you have the IELTS score, you get the conditional offer letter), then will depend on how fast the home office processes your visa application. Unfortunately priority service and super priority service are not yet available because of Ukraine settlement visas.
