I was joined on this rafting trip by Brad in the multi-colored packraft, Rob in the green kayak and Kirsten, Kelsey, Mike and Destini on the party barge. I was on my Kokopelli Nirvana packraft. We did a 3 day trip that included camping at Blankenship Bridge friday night, rafting 35 miles of the North Fork of the Flathead River on Saturday and ending at our camping spot from the night before. We put in at Polebridge and rafted down to Blankenship Bridge for a total of around 9.5 hours. One long day especially not getting on the water until around 11:45. This was so awesome to run in the packrafts. I'm sure we will be back next year. Another amazing trip with some great people.

1983. bought a 6 man raft. started rafting the forks of the Flathead. mostly the North Fork my parents LOVED rafting. they lived in Minnesota. about every 3 years they'd visit, and insist on rafting (North Fork) at least once if not twice every visit. we had to get bear claws from Polebridge every time. the enjoyment my parents got from these excursions are precious to me. my mother would literally lay on her belly looking down to the water watching the kaleidoscope of colored river rock wisp by and say she was in heaven. we would fish. we would stop on islands and picnic. and we would have a beer or two... it was nirvana for my folks and i will never forget the pure pleasure they got.

I just don't understand why you didn't fill us in on the details; water temp., flow rate, number of people who wore Tevas vs. Crocs, how much fire wood you burned, why did you pick a yellow packraft? So many questions. Hehe, thanks for the video. Hope there's still some water there in two weeks.

The state of California has proven the yellow pack raft to have lesser impact on the hearts and souls of invasive, or as they say non inclusive species.
