KAYAK CAMPING at it finest! I'm proud to say I finally finished paddling the beautiful historic SUWANNEE RIVER! I call this video SUWANNEE 3.0 because its the 3rd section Ive done and the last 100 MILES of the SUWANNEE out to the Gulf. Each section has been totally different than the section before especially this one. So check out my latest ADVENTURE it was fun, beautiful, challenging and at times just down right humorous.
If you are interested in KAYAK CAMPING or paddling the SUWANNEE RIVER I'll add some links below! Make sure to subscribe and leave a comment in the video and I'll answer any questions you might have.

I've always wanted to kayak the Suwanee since moving to Florida. I've been cave diving the caves along the river for years (especially Little River and Peacock). I just got my first kayak a few months ago. Guess I'm going to have to try it now.

You'll love it! Do you have enough room for dive gear on your kayak? You could float down and go spring to spring, that would be cool. I love those springs, they are really beautiful.

Chad is like my brother when we go Camping my Brother has to make a big Fire too . Ha I watching him he is steadily stoking the fire . With all that boat traffic it would have been best that you two had Flags on your Kayak . That Rope could have gone wrong in so many ways glad the only thing hurt is your pride . Enjoyed the video .
@PADDLECAMPFISH

Yes I definitely need to get a flag before my next trip. The younger boaters don't give a hoot about kayaks, the older boaters were pretty respectful and slowed down for us. Chad certainly loves his fires! So much for stealth camping with Chad lol. That was my first rope swing that ever broke on me, I will definitely be checking the rope from now on. For food and drinks on a 5 day trip ill start by writing out a meal plan for each day and then add high calorie snacks in during my paddle. I try to keep it simple and light but I also like to take something rewarding to have one night. Ill usually pack it all in a separate dry bag and if I bring something that needs ice I'll eat or drink those the first day. For water I bring 3 or more large bottled waters and then filter water into those bottles from the river when I run out. Try witing out your meal plan and then just tweaking it as you go and make it enjoyable, I found taking all back packing meals is no fun lol. Its nice if the river your paddling has resupply points plan those in your trip but make sure the place is open, I've ran across that before.

Really thinking about getting a Kaku but I can’t decide between the voodoo and Zulu. I mostly paddle lakes but thinking about doing some easy rivers. I like the option of using the pedal drive because I fish but I’ll probably be mostly paddling since that’s all my wife has.Which of the two do you think paddles best? Your other video showing the hatches makes me a little weary of the voodoo, they just don’t seem as nice.
@PADDLECAMPFISH
@PADDLECAMPFISH 3 жыл бұрын
Definitely the Zulu if its in your budget. I started with the Kahuna, then got the Voodoo and now the Zulu. I really like the pedal drive for fishing. The Zulu seems to be better built as well.
