Thanks for not saying "do this, or else" or "get 10 more yards if you just..." Love the notion of feel, the tips that validate my own homegrown solutions such as choking up, your pre-shot swinging to get your body & head tuned into the shot a hand, and the stance width ideas. You make me feel like I can be better at this.

Let me please echo what others have already said...thank you Sir for the time and effort you have taken here and on countless other videos to teach us how to play the hardest game on the planet. Your valuable time and effort is greatly appreciated. You get our most profound respect in doing these super high quality lessons, and I can say without a doubt that your instruction has led to a much greater understanding of the finer points of golf. This video is such an important one, since pitching and chipping can be the deciding factor between a great score and potentially a bogey or worse. Thanks Padraig once again for helping us "break the code." And now, on to the practice sessions...Cheers!

Thank you so much for explaining these feels! Just the idea of "trying to stop the clubhead" has given me some completely different tools to work with. Such quality information! Your lessons open my mind and warm my heart. There is so much misinformation and deception in the "teaching" industry that I was becoming very apathetic and jaded. Thank you for reminding me how fantastic this game is and how pure it can be once you block out the egos and the noise. You are a breath of fresh air!!!

This was a great video on shots from 50-100. Great tips From a PGA pro like yourself means a lot to us. Many golfers don't practice a lot or thinking that what they practiced on the range is good enough for the game. But as you said its very different in the golf course than on the range. To feel the shot and trying not to swing 100% at each pitch or chip shot is very important. You also mentioned to put the ball forward in your stand and not back so you wouldn't get a large davit. Thank you for sharing with us many years of your experience. This is priceless.

Great tips for practice. I've tried bringing distance wedge practice to the course several times over the years and usually stick at it for 3 or 4 rounds then revert to pure feel. But I know distance control is important. I reckon the practice techniques here will get me there. I raced out to try them and i especially like the feel of stopping the club at the ball.. thanks for the simple plain language explanations - here and on the other videos

I’m pleased you clarified the “stopping the club at impact” comment. It’s not really the club face that is stopping, you don’t want the club head actually decelerating at impact, but the hands can decelerate, allowing the head to actually speed up. Really enjoying your videos. Thanks!
