I have this watch in green. It is my absolute favorite watch. I have about fifty watches that range in price fro. 50$-700$ .. seikos, islanders, invictas, orients, movados etc. This watch is gorgeous, feels great, looks great and is of high quality

I've often wondered about this one as it seems to get pushed quite hard on Amazon, good to see a review on it. I'm not as much of a fan of PD these days since their prices started going up but they still seem to suffer from the the same old QC issues. Good review.

My first swiss watch was a Heuer, that I got at a pawn shop, 20 years ago, for 329 bucks.... I was a senior in high school and saved for a good while.... min wage back then was 4.15 an hour. I thought I was pretty cool...My mom still has that watch.... One and only Heuer I've ever bought. This is.... interesting to say the least.

Do you know the size of the bezel insert? I am thinking about buying it and mod the bezel ring and want to make sure the insert is a commonly available size.

I love the look of this watch, however, I can't find a screwdriver that will fit into the screw heads of this watch. The slots are too small to fit a screwdriver into the screw heads? I need to remove some links on this watch

Got mine a week ago. It is a huge step up from the previous model PD 1617 which I also have. I bought this one from Amazon and did so because the Seagull movement in the PD 1617 was unreliable and inconsistent - some days -10 secs, some days -20 secs, some days it stopped for hours for no reason. The NH35 movement is far superior and accurate (-1 SPD so far) and I've had good experience with the NH35 in other watches. The sapphire crystal is a significant improvement and the lack of a date magnifier gives a smoother appearance - I can still see the date quite well even with my 61 year old eyes. The color is a brighter blue than PD 1617 which was more aqua - I like it better. The bracelet is top notch. I love the milled clasp and solid links and solid end links. The brushing and finishing are also superior to the old model as the center links appear to be slightly darker, probably the brushing, giving a polished effect even though the bracelet is 100% brushed. I really like that contrast. The best thing about the bracelet is that his is quiet! The bracelet on the PD 1617, although identical, was noisy and "pingy'. I hate noisy bracelets. There are no micro adjustments however 8 links on the 12 side and 6 on the 6 side fit my 7 inch wrist perfectly. As the reviewer said this watch is missing the decorative metal pieces at the 1, 4, 7, and 11 indices (PD 1617 has them) however I prefer the cleaner look of the 1668. Although is it is a homage to the Tag Aquaracer, the reality is that less than .05% of of 1% of the population even knows what an Aquaracer is (unlike Rolex Subs and GMTs) so as beautiful as it is, it also has it's own uniqueness - not 'Rolexy' which is cool. This is my 3rd Pagani Design watch - have a Batman GMT which is also very good. It's incredible value for $100, IMO.

preem review. unfortunately its too big for me so i stick with my 1651. what is your take on budget homages? wrongfully taking someone elses design or is it the right thing to give not so wealthy people a chance to experience those designs? im a bit of both. i work hard and i feel like i deserve a good design, yet I'll make sure to get the real yachtmaster if i find a bag of money on the street. cheers

I've just got one and overall I'm very pleased with it. Mine has did back not clear. But mine has magnify er on date. I do have a real TAG and pagani is goo d but nowhere near the quality of the real thing. My only critisism is the crown operation does not fill me with confidence, it's feel not good

With not having a Seiko NH35 movement is watch is not a good deal !
