The main question that I have about this watch is the quality of the movement based upon the negative movement comments on Amazon and the fact that I have had mine for only 3 days and the second time that I just wound it it made a very nasty gear meshing sound that also felt very bad, unlike a sound that I have ever heard when winding any other watch, either manual or automatic (and yes. All automatic watches are also designed to be wound via the watch crown as well as just by the movement of the arm and wrist). As the watch made only quiet winding sounds the first time that I wound it, there I probably something wrong going on inside the watch and it will have to be returned for replacement or refund. As to the 44mm size, it wears very large due to the big white outer ring on the dial that really makes the huge circumference stand-out excessively on my 7" wrist, and I think that it's really too big for all but the largest wrists. It is, however, not particularly heavy due to the low-end movement, and is very comfortable to wear, noting that the alligator imprinted band is well made and the navy color is appropriate and quite complimentary to the watch, while finding no problem with the deployment clasp that is used, though some issues with the clasp were cited on Amazon reviews. Overall, if you don't mind the look of a huge watch and want to take a chance on the movement's longevity it might be worth taking a chance on it at the $40 price that I found on eBay, but I would not pay the $70 plus dollars that some sites are asking.

Hi Wes, interesting review. The skeleton watch is a must for any collection. It is the ultimate way to explain mechanical movement to those unfamiliar or new to the hobby. Nice quality for the price and well thought out case design.
