Fixing A Pagani Design Skeleton Watch So You Can Read It

I got this ultra cheap watch simply because I liked looking at it, not really caring about actually wearing it. But, I would like to sometimes. Unfortunately the design on the hands and color makes it almost useless, as a watch, being so hard to read in many different lighting conditions. So here's one solution, repainting them not only to brighten, but to fill in material for at-a-glance readability. Unfortunately I also found some real shoddy install work on it's construction in the process. But hey, it's a bottom of the barrel disposable watch so I can't be upset over it.

I have this watch, its currently residing in my un-rotational box of shame, but now you have me intrigued, mine is the black one with silver hands and I can't distinguish between the movement and the hands.

Great video. thanks for making. Since you had the watch open, in your opinion, how hard do you think it would be to remove the Pagani Design logo and the word Automatic? Do they seem to be stickers? Thanks for the content.

Sorry for repeat question, but do you think that secondary glass can be removed on the watch dial ? Or is that too integrated with dial?

You could, but all you would be left with is the bezel. It's a disc of plastic with things glued to both sides. The 'dial' ring is glued to the underside, the indices to the top. The exposed part isn't separate, it's all one disc.

@@COGuyStuff So it's a sandwich, the top indices , clear plastic, and the white ring is on the underside? Wonder if you could seperate the two and just leave ring? I's just driving me nuts on the reflections. I wish they put logos on the movement itself via small logos glued to movement itself. With no clear plastic. That would be a lot cleaner and make movement pop more.

I wonder if the layers can be separated with acetone or freezing, then plastic removed and other layers glued back together. Just an idea.

I think it would have been great if you had painted it from the inner sides so that the hollow part would be white and the original blue also remained.

The paint doesn’t flow like that. Even doing it this way the back got white.
