UConn star Paige Bueckers spent her weekend in Washington, DC watching her former teammate Aaliyah Edwards and the Washington Mystics. She's also spent a lot of time in DC with Azzi Fudd. Do we think its likely Bueckers lands here in next year's WNBA Draft?!

I’m worried about Paige in wnba. I’m worried about her being injury prone and I’m worried about her physical strength…she has to get stronger.

Yall talk about Paige like she is constantly injured. Really it was one major injury. The other had her out for 2 months. She was fine this past season. So strong that she was playing the 4. Definitely wnba strong

She’s the best player in the draft, so every team wants her lol…but you have to win the lottery

Bueckers most likely WILL land with the team that wins the draft lottery, but it doesn't have to be the Mystics. It will be one of the four WNBA teams with the worst record over two years that ALSO wins the draft lottery, unless I don't understand how the lottery works.

Nope, you’ve got it right! The big reason I wanted to have Sabreena on is to talk about whether or not Washington should try and trade for the #1 pick if they don’t get it b/c they’ll have two other high picks. And would a team do that, or would they reject a 2-for-1 swap?

Taking into account last season’s records and how the teams are currently playing this season, it looks like the Sparks will probably have the best odds in the lottery.

@@HoffmanWSportsThat will be interesting. Do you take Paige or do you take both Kiki Iriafen and Aneesha Morrow. That’s tough if you have the opportunity. Also, what if another player emerges.

Long season! Definitely possible that things change. I think I would take Paige for the Mystics considering they have Shakira and Aaliyah in the front court already.

She will! Her strength coach at UConn is very good, and her work ethic is fantastic.

@@HoffmanWSports ….Caitlin Clark is of a similar build and is being bullied. She is also struggling with her shot which is what I never would have expected. Paige as talented as she is doesn’t like to take a game over being being ultra aggressive. Her coach even complained about that…on the next level I’m curious how she will do…and we have to factor in she will have to play defense

CC is halfway through her rookie season and rapidly improving. Paige will struggle coming in, but will be fine. That's what it means to be a rookie.
