Examine Your Ears with Confidence Using a Wireless Otoscope
Curious about the state of your ear health? A wireless otoscope allows you to check your ears from the comfort of your home. Using your a camera that connects to your phone, this tool gives you a clear view inside your ears, aiding in early detection of wax buildup. Note: While safe for examination, we advise against using these devices for earwax removal. Discover our suggested wireless otoscope here: amzn.to/3uDrGmG for a safe, non-invasive way to keep an eye on your ear health.
Discover the Benefits of Olive Oil Spray for Ear Care
Olive oil spray can be remarkably useful for lubricating and softening earwax, making it easier to manage and remove. Its fine mist application ensures a gentle, even distribution, minimizing discomfort. Explore our top pick for olive oil spray here: amzn.to/3I1ffEq and experience a more comfortable way to maintain ear health.
Unlock the Power of Sodium Bicarbonate Spray
For those tougher cases of earwax, sodium bicarbonate spray offers a potent solution. Its ability to break down earwax more efficiently stems from its alkaline properties, which soften the wax faster than many alternatives. Find our recommended sodium bicarbonate drops here: amzn.to/3SNPZWW and take the first step towards clearer ears.

My late father suffered from psoriasis and rock hard ear wax. I don’t think any of his doctors put 2 and 2 together. He used to dig the wax out of his ears with the curved end of a bobby pin. He’s lucky he didn’t perforate an eardrum.

I have psoriasis. It is not an exaggeration that your skin can shed in a few days. For me it's about week for epidermis shed. It's constant pain and irritation, and a mess from cleaning up constant shed, but I do heal small wounds in a couple days. It's not just the ears it will mess with, also eyes and nose.

I have psoriasis in my ear canals and do monthly self-irrigation. My question is: HOW DO YOU STOP THE CONSTANT ITCHING??? I’m desperate! I look like a dog rubbing the area in front of my ear lobes to “scratch”, but I’d much rather get in there with a Bic pen lid and just scratch. (Gently and not too far). Allergy pills don’t help. I don’t wear earphones or ear buds.

I am suffering from Psoriasis my entire life and while your summary of it isn‘t entirely wrong, it‘s not correct either. But who can blame you, it‘s a pretty fringe illness. Psoriasis is not a skin ailment, it is entirely an immune disorder that not only attacks the skin, but also capillaries such as in the organs. While the entire chemistry is not entirely understood, it is understood that the illness stems from an immune reaction and is hereditary. It‘s basically an immune disorder. People who suffer from Psoriasis not only have these scabs and inflammation of the skin (which itches like crazy and is genuinely awful to live with because you get these scales everywhere and you look frightening, also it hurts like hell when you wash your skin and the epidermis just peels off entirely, leaving you in pain for a couple hours after showering), we also have a lower life expectancy and are at risk of heart / kidney borne illnesses. It sucks all around. Worst part is the social discrimination because people don‘t know what it is and just assume your hygiene is lacking or you‘re abusing drugs. My case is super severe though, it can be as harmless as just having a little patch on your elbow that itches from time to time. I have / had it on my entire body (and I mean ENTIRE body I‘m not going into details) and it was so severe from time to time that I wasn‘t able to go outside and needed bandages around all my extremities and joints. No treatment helped. Then I got accepted into a study that was testing the effects of an immune suppressant drug that was accepted for organ transplantation cases where they wanted to see if it helped severe cases of Psoriasis. It didn‘t cure me and completely and wrecked my immune system so until I was 18-20 I was constantly sick and often bedridden. However the scabs receded 90% and are now only in discrete places like on my scalp and behind my ears where others can‘t see them. It may have wrecked my immune system but it made me feel like a human being so it was totally worth it.
@kingbugs3558
@kingbugs3558 Күн бұрын
Same here and well said. I think the thing that sets me off the most is when people tell me just put on lotion. It's not simply dry skin. I have to constantly apply skin protectant, but if I use it too much my skin is lost too quickly. If I bath or shower too long same thing. I have to spend an hour each morning removing dead skin from head to toe. Also, yes, immune suppressants work well but we already have higher risk of infections and it's a gamble.
@SahnigReingeloetet
@SahnigReingeloetet Күн бұрын
@@kingbugs3558 to me the gamble is worth it. I went my whole life ostracized because of a condition I couldn‘t control, being treated normal is honestly worth the extra risk of complications for me. And you‘re right that IS the worst advice. Same as „don‘t scratch it off“. Worst part is when the dead skin soaks itself up with those fatty creams and turns into a paste 👍 and people don‘t understand that these scabs are dead skin, they just assume you‘re scratching off live skin. The constant itches are almost as bad as chronic pain (had both, so can compare).
